COME TO ME

MATTHEW 11:25-30

Matthew 11:29b

Only the Master in his immense goodness and mercy infuses us with courage through his promises. Jesus promises immense security with these promises to those who suffer physically, mentally and spiritually, including all of us without exception. He will never let us carry burdens on our shoulders that will hinder our journey.

When Jesus promises rest, he refers also to those who carry burdens of sin, of errors, or those who have not found solutions to their worries without realizing that, if they put everything in the hands of the Father, He will carry their burden and teach them the right way with only his love and his truth. Let’s trust only in the Lord’s faithfulness. Let’s recognize that our life needs that rest. Let’s place our heavy burdens on God; let’s act and trust. He will never disappoint us.

Prayer: Thank you, God, that in you we find rest and faithfulness. Let us have confidence in you at every moment, in your faithfulness, your forgiveness, and your salvation. Amen.

MATEO 11:25-30

… y hallaréis descanso para vuestras almas… 

Mateo 11:29b

Solo el Maestro en su inmensa bondad y misericordia nos infunde valor a través de sus promesas.

Jesús brinda una seguridad inmensa con esta promesa a quienes sufren física, mental y espiritualmente incluyéndonos a todos sin excepción. Jamás él permitirá que llevemos sobre los hombros aquellas cargas que nos impidan caminar.

Cuando Jesús promete descanso se refiere también a todos los que llevan cargas de pecados, errores, o a los que no han encontrado soluciones a sus preocupaciones sin darse cuenta que poniendo todo en manos del Padre, Él tomará su carga, les enseñará el camino con su solo amor y su verdad.

Confiemos únicamente en la fidelidad del Señor. Reconozcamos que nuestra vida está necesitando ese descanso. Depositemos nuestras pesadas cargas en Dios, actuemos y confiemos. Él nunca nos defraudará.

Oración: Gracias Dios, porque en ti encontramos descanso y fidelidad. Permítenos confiar en ti en cada momento, en tu fidelidad, tu perdón, y tu Salvación. Amén.
