GOD HAS NOT FORGOTTEN

DANIEL 10:10-14

The man said to me, “Daniel, you are greatly treasured.  Now grasp the meaning of what I’m saying to you.  And stand up, because I’ve been sent to you.”

At times it seems that God is silent.  When you pray and ask that God intervene in a situation or that God help you with a difficulty and you don’t have an immediate answer from Him, there is a temptation to interpret that God is inactive.  The truth is that God is never too busy to listen to you.

Daniel was very worried about his people.  He spent weeks fasting and praying and desperately wanted to receive direction, an answer for his people.  Imagine being fervently on your knees for three weeks praying and fasting, and nothing!  Some would have thrown in the towel, and maybe would also have supposed that God had forgotten them. After three weeks an angel came and informed Daniel that God had heard his prayer in the same moment that he spoke it and had answered it.

What has you on your knees before God?  What have you been asking that God do for you?  You must know that God has not forgotten you. God is working behind the scenes to produce the good in your life.  He has the answer that you need.  Cling to God and believe that he can do it for you.

Prayer:   Lord, help me to cling to you, believing that my answer is on its way.  Amen.

DIOS NO SE HA OLVIDADO

DANIEL 10 :10-14

Entonces me dijo: “Daniel, no temas; porque desde el primer día que dispusiste tu corazón a entender y a humillarte en la presencia de tu Dios, fueron oídas tus palabras;

y a causa de tus palabras yo he venido.”

Daniel 10:12

A veces parece que Dios está en silencio. Cuando oras y le pides que intervenga en una situación o que te ayude con una dificultad y no tienes noticias de Él de inmediato, existe la tentación de interpretar que está inactivo. La verdad es que nunca está demasiado ocupado para escucharte.

Daniel estaba muy preocupado por su pueblo. Pasó semanas ayunando y orando, y quería recibir dirección con desesperación, una respuesta para su pueblo. Imagina estar fervientemente de rodillas durante tres semanas ayunando y orando ¡y nada! Algunos habrían tirado la toalla y, tal vez, incluso habrían supuesto que Dios se había olvidado. Transcurridas tres semanas, un ángel vino a informar a Daniel que Dios había oído su oración en el mismo momento en que la pronunció y que había obrado.

¿Qué te tiene de rodillas delante de Dios? ¿Qué le has estado pidiendo que haga por ti? Has de saber que Dios no se ha olvidado de ti. Está trabajando detrás de bambalinas para producir el bien en tu vida. Él tiene la respuesta que necesitas. Aférrate a Él y cree que Él podrá con ello para ti.

Oración: Señor, ayúdame a aferrarme a ti, creyendo que mi respuesta está en camino. Amén.
