RAISED IN CHRIST
COLOSSIANS 3: 1-4
Think about the
things above and not things on earth.
Colossians 3:2 (CEB)
“We have been raised
with Christ,” and we are depositaries of the salvation in Jesus Christ, let us
then live this salvation from now on, continuing the path that this same Jesus
marked for us through the effective and unconditional love, the welcome, the
forgiveness and most of all the solidarity with people in the most need.
Exhorting ourselves
to look and to think on the things of
heaven where Christ is seated at the right hand of God, and not on the things
of the earth does not invite us to practice an escapist and individualistic
faith, to evade the reality in which we live and which many times drowns us,
makes us sad or in bad humor, or makes us lose the strength, the energy, and
even the wish to live. It means, on the contrary,
to look for the presence of God wherever we find ourselves and to always intend
to do his will, that is, that which is good, that which is honest, that which
is ethical, that which is human, that which is divine.
In this way, we not
only will be part of his glory to come but we will be showing it anticipatingly
to the world, the “already” in the “not yet” of the Kingdom.
Prayer: Allow, Lord, that each word, gesture or action
of ours reflects your loving and transformative presence in the world. Amen.

RESUCITADOS
EN CRISTO
COLOSENSES 3: 1-4
Piensen en las cosas del
cielo, no en las de la tierra
Colosenses 3:2
