RESTORE THE FALLEN

Galatians 6:1

…if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. (NIV) 

Galatians 6:1

            Some believers fear dealing with those who have had moral or spiritual failures, above all if that person was a believer. With the latter, they even make destructive comments and act in an unsympathetic way. However, we cannot help but relate to the believers who have fallen. If we don’t try to bring them into a new relationship with Christ and into the fellowship of other brothers, those believers could be lost for eternity.

            Christ's mission is to seek and save what was lost. Those who allowed the sin of this world to lead them back to a sinful life. As believers, we must have the same ministry that Jesus taught us. Perhaps you know someone who has left the faith and is enslaved by sin. Let this meditation stimulate you to help the one who has fallen and restore him to a renewal with God.

 

Prayer: Lord, help me to be sensitive to the restorative needs of others. Amen.

RESTAURAR AL CAIDO

Galatas 6:1

Si alguno fuere sorprendido en alguna falta, vosotros que sois espirituales, restauradle en espíritu de mansedumbre

Gálatas 6:1

            Algunos creyentes temen tratar con los que han tenido fracasos morales o espirituales, sobre todo si esa persona fue creyente, con estos últimos, incluso se hacen comentarios destructivos y se actúa de modo poco compasivo. Sin embargo, no podemos dejar de relacionarnos con los creyentes que han caído. Si no tratamos de llevarlos a una nueva relación con Cristo y al compañerismo de otros hermanos, esos creyentes pudieran perderse por la eternidad.

            La misión de Cristo es buscar y salvar lo que se había perdido, a quienes permitieron que el pecado de este mundo los llevara de nuevo a una vida pecaminosa. Como creyentes, debemos tener el mismo ministerio que Jesús nos enseñó. Tal vez usted conozca a alguien que ha dejado la fe y está esclavizado por el pecado. Permita que esta meditación lo estimule a ayudar al que ha caído y a restaurarlo a una renovación con Dios.

 

Oración: Señor,  ayúdame a ser sensible a las necesidades de restauración de los demás. Amén.
