GOD WITH US: A GREAT CERTAINTY!

Psalms 71: 1-2; 12-13; 18-19

So even to old age and gray hairs, O God, do not forsake me,  until I proclaim your might to all the generations to come. Your power and your righteousness, O God, reach the high heavens.

     You who have done great things, O God, who is like you?

Psalms 71:18-19 (NRSV)

An inspirational phrase from the film “God is not dead” is: “God is good all the time; All the time God is good.” A phrase that expresses God’s loving action in a perennial way, regardless of time or place. That’s a certainty! God has done great wonders in your life, in my life; in our lives! In spite of the strong waves that beat against our boats, and even though the early mornings become darker and colder, God continues to act and take care of each one. This is a certainty! It doesn’t matter how big your problem, where you live or how much you have, not your sex, race, or age, God is born – and lives – for everyone. Jesus is the incarnate light that shines in every place and space. He has never forsaken you! He has worked in us with power, justice, and grace! It's a certainty! Now it is time to give thanks for his infinite love and omnipresence: for his special divine gift. Emmanuel is born! God with us! A great certainty!

 

Prayer: Thank you Merciful God for your gift of perfect love: Jesus! Thank you for the wonders you have done by our side, which motivate us to celebrate life. Thank you for your constant care and companionship. In the name of Jesus Crhist your beloved Son, Amen.

DIOS CON NOSOTROS: ¡UNA GRAN CERTEZA!

Salmos 71: 1-2; 12-13; 18-19

Aun en la vejez y las canas, Oh Dios, no me desampares, hasta que anuncie tu poder a la posteridad. Y tu presencia a todos los que han de venir. Y tu justicia, Oh Dios, hasta lo excelso. Tú has hecho grandes cosas; Oh Dios, ¿quién como tú?

Salmos 71:18-19

Versa una frase inspiradora del filme “Dios no está muerto”: “Dios    es bueno todo el tiempo; todo el tiempo Dios es bueno” . Frase que expresa el actuar amoroso de Dios de manera perenne, sin interesar momento o lugar para ello. ¡Esa es una certeza! ¡Dios ha hecho grandes maravillas en tu vida, en mi vida; en nuestras vidas! A pesar de las fuertes olas que azotan nuestras barcas, y aunque las madrugadas se tornen más oscuras y frías; Dios permanece actuando y cuidando de cada uno/a. ¡Esta es una certeza! No importa la magnitud del problema que tengas; dónde vivas ni cuánto tienes; ni tu sexo, ni raza, ni edad; Dios nace –y vive- para todos/as. Jesús es la luz encarnada que brilla en todo lugar y espacio. ¡No te ha desamparado jamás! ¡Ha obrado en nosotros con poder, justicia y gracia! ¡Es una certeza! Ahora toca agradecer por su infinito amor y omnipresencia: por su especial regalo divino. ¡Ha nacido Emmanuel! ¡Dios con nosotros! ¡Una gran certeza!

 

Oración: ¡Gracias Dios Misericordioso por tu dádiva de amor perfecto: Jesús! Gracias por las maravillas que has hecho a nuestro lado, que nos motivan a celebrar la vida. Gracias por tus cuidados y compañía constantes. Por Jesucristo, tu Hijo Amado, Amén.
