GOD CALLS US TO DWELL IN HIS HOUSE

Psalms 23

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.

Psalm 23:5 (NRSV)

Anything is possible if the Lord is near! Nothing is missing... All is peace! God is the Shepherd who cares for his sheep; he is the one who guides his people in the “paths of righteousness,” and “still waters” provide for rest. Anything is possible if we feel part of his flock... of his home! In the “stormy” situations of life, it is necessary to be with God and in God, so that calm may emerge and appease the daily turbulence. The promise of the Pilgrim God is more valid than ever: I’ll be with you wherever you go. We must be ready to share the way of Jesus. The first step is to be assured that God loves you and wants to invite you to His banquet of salvation. Come and sit at the table! Tell him about your distressers! Celebrate! Share! He dresses the table for you.

God has chosen you to be part of the great family in Christ. You have a space... Your life will overflow with joy and gladness. Your soul will be comforted. Come and dwell in the house of the Lord! Come and dwell for long days!

 

Prayer: O God of Life! Thank you for the anointing with your blessed oil. Watch my steps and my thoughts. Thank you for being close to me at all times and places. I wish to be in your House from now until eternity. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

DIOS NOS LLAMA PARA MORAR EN SU CASA

Salmos 23

Aderezas mesa delante de mí en presencia de mis angustiadores; Unges mi cabeza con aceite; mi copa está rebosando...

Salmo 23:5

¡Todo es posible si el Señor está cerca! ¡Nada falta... todo es paz! Dios es el Pastor que cuida de sus ovejas; es el que guía a su pueblo por las "sendas de justicia"; y "aguas de reposo" provee para el descanso. ¡Todo es posible si nos sentimos parte de su rebaño...de su casa! En las situaciones de "tormentas" de la vida, es necesario estar con Dios y en Dios, para que la calma asome y aplaque la turbulencia cotidiana. La promesa del Dios Peregrino se hace más vigente que nunca: ...yo estaré contigo dondequiera que vayas. Hay que disponerse a compartir el camino de Jesús. El primer paso es tener la seguridad de que Dios te ama y quiere invitarte a su banquete de salvación. ¡Ven y siéntate a la mesa! ¡Cuéntale de tus angustiadores! ¡Celebra; comparte! Él adereza la mesa para ti.

Dios te ha escogido para ser parte de la gran familia en Cristo. Tienes un espacio...tu vida rebosará de gozo y alegría. Se confortará tu alma. ¡Ven a morar a la Casa del Señor! ¡Ven a morar por largos días!

 

Oración: ¡Oh Dios de la Vida! Gracias por la unción con tu aceite bendito. Cuida mis pasos y mis pensamientos. Gracias por estar cerca de mí en todo tiempo y lugar. Deseo estar en tu Casa desde ahora y hasta la eternidad. Por Jesucristo, Amén.
