CONSTANT PRESENCE

EXODUS  14: 21-28

Then Moses stretched his hand over the sea, and all that night the Lord

drove the sea back with a strong hand and turned it into dry land.

Exodus 14:21 (NIV)

This verse contains an encouraging message that shows how God works in darkness. God’s true work for the sons and daughters of Israel was not when they woke up and saw that they could cross the Red Sea, but was all that night.

There may be a great difficulty in your life, when everything seems so dark that you can’t see, but God is working nevertheless. Just as certainly as he worked all that night and all the next day. The next day simply showed what God had done during the night.

Has someone who is reading these lines been in a dark place? You may think you see, but you don’t. In your daily life there is no constant victory; you’re lacking daily peaceful communion with God, and everything seems in the dark.

All that night the Lord drove the sea back. Don’t forget that it was all that night. God works all night, until day dawns. You can’t see him, but every night of your life as you believe in him, he works.

Prayer: Thank you, beloved God, for your presence at all times. Thank you because at your side we feel safe and ready to walk. Amen.

E hizo Jehová  que la mar se retirase… toda aquella noche

Éxodo 14:21

En este versículo hay un mensaje alentador que muestra cómo Dios obra en la oscuridad. El verdadero trabajo de Dios para con los hijos e hijas de Israel no fue cuando despertaron y vieron que podían atravesar el Mar Rojo, sino que fue toda aquella noche.

Así, puede haber una gran dificultad en tu vida cuando todo parece oscuro y tú no puedes ver, pero, no obstante, Dios está obrando. Tan ciertamente como obró toda aquella noche y todo el día siguiente. El próximo día manifestó simplemente lo que Dios había hecho durante la noche.

¿Ha estado alguno de los que están leyendo estas líneas en un lugar que parezca oscuro? Puedes creer que ves, pero no es así. En tu vida progresiva no hay ninguna victoria constante; la diaria y tranquila comunión te falta, y todo parece sin luz.

El Señor hizo que la mar se retirase… toda aquella noche.  No olvides que fue toda aquella noche. Dios obra toda la noche, hasta que el día llega. Tú no puedes verlo, pero toda aquella noche en tu vida, como tú crees en Dios, Él obra.

Oración: Gracias Dios amado, por tu presencia en todas las horas. Gracias porque a tu lado nos sentimos seguros y dispuestos a caminar. Amén.
