WAITING IN RECONCILIATION FOR OUR ENCOUNTER WITH GOD

Matthew 5: 21-26

But tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgment…

Matthew 5: 22 NIV

Hatred of one’s brother, or a grudge that is kept alive and leads to the desire for evil, is sin. We must not continually postpone the moment when we set about settling accounts and straightening out our lives. The question is not only to repent, but also to repair the evil we have done. An analysis of our personality can lead us to realize how unsteady we have been and how we have been carried away by impulse.

We must strengthen our weak conscience by prayer and meditation on the Word of God. All the evil buried in our conscience must be brought to light before we enter into Truth, which is our encounter with God.

 

Prayer: Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen

ESPERAR RECONCILIADOS NUESTRO ENCUENTRO CON DIOS

Mateo 5: 21-26

Yo les digo más, cualquiera que se enoje contra su hermano será culpable de juicio.

Mateo 5: 22

El odio que se tiene contra el hermano, o el rencor que se guarda vivo y que lleva a desear el mal, es pecado. No debemos aplazar continuamente el momento en el que nos pondremos a arreglar cuentas y a enderezar nuestra vida. La cuestión no es solamente de arrepentirnos, sino también de reparar el mal que hemos hecho, que puede ser mediante un análisis de nuestra personalidad que nos conduzca a darnos cuenta de cuán poco firmes hemos sido y cómo nos hemos podido dejar llevar por cualquier impulso.

Debemos fortalecer nuestra consciencia débil con la oración y la meditación de la Palabra de Dios. Todo el mal enterrado en nuestra consciencia, deberá ser sacado a la luz antes de que entremos a la Verdad, que es nuestro encuentro con Dios.

 

Oración: Padre nuestro que estás en el cielo, santificado sea tu nombre; venga a nosotros tu Reino; hágase tu voluntad, asi en la tierra como en el cielo. Danos hoy nuestro pan de cada dia; perdona nuestras deudas, asi como nosotros perdonamos a nuestros deudores; no nos dejes caer en tentación, mas libranos del mal. Porque tuyo es el Reino, el poder y la gloria, por todos los siglos. Amén.
