THE LORD OF THE IMPOSSIBLE

Matthew 9:27-34

“But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts

is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.”

James 1:6

The case of the two blind men and the mute are examples of people who received gifts from Jesus according to their faith. “Do you believe I can do this?” Jesus asked them as if to say: Haven’t you come to me with some particle of doubt in your hearts? In truth, do you think I have the power to do what you ask of me? Their answer was: “Yes, Lord,” as if to say: Assuredly, we know in you there is the power to resolve this problem.

God works in impossibilities. It’s never too late for Him. With our lack of faith we’re those who put limits on what God can do. But if that which appears impossible to us is brought to Him with complete faith, the impossible becomes reality for the glory of the Lord.

Although there may have been disaster, rebelliousness, incredulity and sin in our lives, it’s never too late to come to the Father. And He will do this when we put ourselves into his hands, when we put our trust in him and believe in his promise of salvation.

God does this not because of our merits, but because of his immense love. He forgives, cures, and restores; He is pleased with impossibilities, there’s nothing too difficult for Him.  

Prayer:  You who have the power to make possible the impossible, remember me and don’t draw your presence from me.

EL SEÑOR DE LOS IMPOSIBLES

Mateo 9:27-34

“Tiene que pedir con fe y sin dudar nada, porque el que duda es como las olas del mar, que el viento agita y lleva de un lado a otro”

Santiago 1:6

El caso de los dos ciegos y el mudo son ejemplos de personas que recibieron favores de Jesús conforme a la fe que tenían. “¿Creen que puedo hacer esto?” , les preguntó Jesús, como queriendo decir: ¿Acaso no han venido hasta mí con algo de dudas en sus corazones? ¿En verdad consideran que yo tengo el poder para hacer esto que me piden? La respuesta de ellos fue: “Sí, Señor",. como queriendo decir: Con toda seguridad sabemos que en ti hay poder para resolver este problema.

Dios obra en las imposibilidades. Para Él nunca es demasiado tarde. Somos nosotros, con nuestra falta de fe, quienes ponemos límite a lo que Dios puede hacer. Pero si lo que nos parece imposible se le lleva a Él con fe plena, lo imposible se convierte en realidad para la gloria del Señor.

Aunque en nuestra vida haya habido desastre, rebeldía, incredulidad y pecado, nunca es demasiado tarde para acudir al Padre. Y Él hará esto cuando nos pongamos en sus manos, cuando pongamos nuestra confianza y creamos en su promesa de salvación.

Dios hace esto no por nuestros méritos, sino por su inmenso amor: perdona, cura y restituye. Él se complace en las imposibilidades. No hay nada difícil para Él.

Oración: Tú que tienes poder para hacer posible lo imposible, acuérdate de mí y no me apartes de tu presencia.
