A NEW OPPORTUNITY

1 PETER 3: 9-12

Whoever would love life and see good days

must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech.

1 Peter 3: 10

Each day life offers you a blank page in the book of your existence. Your past is already written, and you cannot correct it. In its yellowing pages you can find your story, some with soft colors, others with dim nuances, beautiful memories of pleasant times, or pages you might want to tear out forever. Today you have the opportunity to write one more page. It is entirely in your hands to choose the colors that will be there, because even in adversity you can insert shadings of serenity so that it becomes a beautiful experience.

How will you write your story today? Making this day into a page in the book of your life a beautiful experience depends only on your will and optimism.  If you knew you had only one more day to live, what would you do? Doubtlessly, you’d make peace with God and those around you; you’d enjoy the sunshine, the breezes, the joy of your children’s love, your spouse’s love… the many blessings that God places within our reach but that we often don’t know how to appreciate.

Enjoy this new day. Make an inventory of all the good things that exist in your life, and live each hour in good spirits, giving the best of yourself. Do harm to no one, and feel the joy of being alive, of being able to return a smile, of offering your hand and your generous help. It’s never too late to change and to begin writing fortunate pages.

    

Thank God for the gift he gives you today, and the opportunity to change this day into a beautiful page in the book of your existence. Remember that despite all the adverse situations, it’s solely in your hands to live today as though it were the first, as if it were the last, as though it were the only page in the book of your life.

Prayer:  Thank you for diversity. Thank you that we are different. May we love each other despite our differences.  Help us to be tolerant. Amen.

UNA NUEVA OPORTUNIDAD

1 PEDRO 3: 9-12

Porque el que quiera amar la vida y ver días buenos,

refrene su lengua de mal y sus labios no hablen engaño

1 Pedro 3: 10

Cada día la vida te ofrece una página en blanco del libro de tu existencia. Tu pasado ya está escrito y no puedes corregirlo. En sus páginas amarillas puedes encontrar tu historia, algunas con suaves colores, otras con oscuros matices. Recuerdos bellos de tiempos gratos o páginas que quisieras arrancar para siempre.

Este día tienes la oportunidad de escribir una página más. Está únicamente en tus manos  escoger los colores que tendrá, pues aun en la adversidad, puedes poner matices de serenidad para convertirlo en una bella experiencia.

¿Cómo escribirías el día de hoy? Solo depende de tu voluntad y optimismo hacer que la página del día de hoy en el libro  de tu vida sea una página que en el futuro puedas atesorar como un bello recuerdo. Si supieras que sólo vas vivir un día más ¿Qué harías? Sin duda te pondrías en paz con Dios y con los que te rodean, disfrutarías de los rayos del sol, de la brisa, de la alegría de tus hijos, del amor de tu pareja, de tantas bendiciones que  Dios nos pone al alcance de la mano y que muchas veces no sabemos valorar.      

Disfruta este nuevo día. Haz un inventario de todas  cosas buenas que existen en tu vida y vive cada hora con buen ánimo dando lo mejor de ti. No dañes  a nadie y siéntete feliz de estar vivo, de poder regalar una sonrisa, de ofrecer tu mano y tu ayuda generosa. Nunca es tarde para cambiar  y empezar a escribir páginas de dicha.

Agradece a Dios el regalo que te da  hoy y la oportunidad de convertir este día en una bella página  del libro de tu existencia. Recuerda que a pesar de todas las situaciones adversas, está únicamente en tus manos vivir el día de hoy como si fuera el primero, como si fuera el último, como si fuera el único  en el libro de tu vida.

Oración: Gracias por la diversidad. Gracias porque somos distintos. Permítenos amarnos a pesar de nuestras diferencias. Ayúdanos a ser tolerantes. Amén.
