THAT WHICH IS PLEASING TO THE LORD

COLOSSIANS 3: 18-25

            

Children, obey your parents in everything,

for this is your acceptable duty in the Lord.

Colossians 3: 20

            We have had to live through years of confrontation and insecurity, difficult times. Sometimes we hear that many moral values have been lost or relaxed. Lack of social discipline and respect is frequent in the home, the workplace and society in general.

           

            In the Christian home there are possibilities to observe different modes of conduct. If we follow the teachings of Jesus and strengthen the sense of justice, love, goodness and compassion, we can stand strong before those influences or the atmosphere around us. The family has a fundamental role in the formation of values. Let us teach our children and youth Christian ethics.

            In time, these seeds will bear fruits of joy.

Prayer: Lord, we pray for our sons and daughters that we may guide them holding up your image as an example. Inspire correct behavior in them so that they can demonstrate your message. Amen.

LO QUE AGRADA AL SEÑOR

COLOSENSES  3: 18-25

            

Hijos, obedeced a vuestros padres

en todo porque esto agrada a Dios.

     Colosenses 3: 10

Nos ha tocado vivir años de confrontación e inseguridad, tiempos difíciles.

A veces escuchamos que muchos valores morales se han perdido o relajado.

Es frecuente la indisciplina social y la falta de respeto en hogares, centros de trabajo y la sociedad en general.

En el hogar cristiano existen posibilidades de observar conductas diferentes.

Si seguimos las enseñanzas de Jesús y fortalecemos el sentido de justicia, amor, bondad y comprensión,  podemos mantenernos firmes ante las influencias o el ambiente que nos rodea.

Un papel fundamental en la educación de valores lo tiene la familia. Eduquemos a nuestros niños y jóvenes en la ética cristiana.

A su tiempo estas semillas darán frutos de gozo

Oración: Señor, te rogamos por nuestros hijos e hijas, porque podamos guiarlos teniendo como ejemplo tu imagen. Inspírales conductas rectas que les permitan dar a conocer tu mensaje. Amén
