Anniversary of the IPR Nueva Paz
THE GREAT QUESTION
ESTHER 4:14
For if you remain silent
at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews
will arise from another
place, but you and your father’s family will perish.
And who knows but that
you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?
Esther 4:14
Who knows, at this hour,
if you have reached the Kingdom? A tremendous question that invites decision-making!
The importance of the opportunities life offers in the existence of every human
is often mentioned, yet it saddens us to see how we let these occasions slip
through our fingers. We can apply this truth in all corners of our existence:
in our work and family relations as well as in the church.
Today we invite you to
meditate on the beautiful call Jesus himself has made to all his followers, one
that constitutes the believer’s first commitment. He has challenged us to
preach the Gospel to all living creatures, to announce the Good News of
salvation. He invites us to be his
witnesses throughout the world. When we evade this responsibility we justify
ourselves by thinking that we are not teaching elders, and as such this task
doesn’t belong to us. There’s nothing more erroneous in Christian militancy
than the attitude of waiting for others to do so, while we limit ourselves to
singing hymns and praying in a comfortable and pious posture.
Who knows if at this
hour you’re being called? We can be sure of one thing, and it’s that through
sharing our faith we find Christ in the fullness of a shocking presence. One
cannot be a Christian without sharing one’s faith, and one cannot share it
without believing that Christ is here among us.
Prayer: Thank you my God
for your love and constant care. Help us leave our confinement to speak your
good news. Amen.

ahora callas y no dices nada, la liberación de los judíos vendrá de otra parte,
pero tú y la familia de tu padre morirán.

lo mejor tú has llegado a ser reina precisamente
para
ayudarnos en esta situación!

¿Quién
sabe si para esta hora has llegado al Reino? ¡Tremenda pregunta que invita a
tomar decisiones! Se habla con frecuencia acerca de la importancia de las
oportunidades que la vida ofrece en la existencia de todo ser humano, y sin
embargo, nos entristece ver cómo dejamos escapar éstas ocasiones. Esta verdad
podemos aplicarla en todos los rincones de la existencia: en las relaciones del
trabajo, de la familia y de la Iglesia.
Hoy te
invitamos a meditar en el hermoso llamado que el propio Señor Jesús ha hecho a
todos sus seguidores y que constituye el compromiso primero de los creyentes.
Nos ha retado a predicar el Evangelio a toda criatura; a anunciar las Buenas
Nuevas de salvación. Nos invita a ser testigos suyos en todo el mundo. Cuando
evadimos esta responsabilidad, nos justificamos pensando que no somos
Presbíteros Pastores y por lo tanto, esta tarea no es apropiada a nosotros.
Nada mas erróneo en la militancia cristiana que la actitud de esperar que otros
hagan, mientras nosotros nos limitamos a cantar himnos y a orar en una postura
cómoda y pietista. ¿Quién sabe si para esta hora estás siendo llamado? De una
cosa podemos estar seguros y es que evangelizando encontramos a Cristo en la
plenitud de una presencia estremecedora. No se puede ser cristiano sin
evangelizar y no se puede evangelizar sin creer que Jesús está en medio de
nosotros.
Oración :
Gracias Dios mío, por tu cuidado y amor constante. Ayúdanos a salir de nuestros encierros para
contar tu buena noticia. Amén.
