CHRIST IN OUR LIVES
LUKE 5:33-39
But the time will come
when the bridegroom will be taken from them;
in those days they will

There is no doubt that
the celebration of worship as a community is valuable, and the practice of
certain religious rites or customs greatly helps the spiritual and devotional
life of the faithful, but when these practices become routine they no longer
help the believer’s spiritual growth.
The real presence of
Christ in a believer’s life is more valuable than all the acts of external
devotion. If Christ is in our lives, there is no reason for sadness, pain, or
grief, but rather for joy, peace, and spiritual glorification. Christ is the
hope of glory in us.
It is confidence in the
presence of Christ that frees us from fear, anxiety, and despair. That is the
presence that changes our lives forever, and enables us to see existence with
new colors of hope, joy, and commitment to his kingdom.
When life’s hard tests
come, will we feel the reality of Christ’s presence in our lives?
Prayer: Lord, today we feel you
well within us as a cascade of blessing that leads to eternal life. Amen.

No hay dudas de
que la celebración comunitaria del culto tiene su valor y que la práctica de
ciertos ritos o costumbres religiosas son de gran ayuda en la vida espiritual y
devocional de los fieles, pero cuando estas prácticas se convierten en rutina,
dejan de servir para el progreso espiritual del creyente.
La presencia
real de Cristo en la vida del creyente es de más valor que todos los actos de
devoción externos. Si Cristo está presente en nuestras vidas, no hay motivos de
tristeza, dolor ni pena, sino de gozo, paz y exaltación espiritual. Cristo es
en nosotros la esperanza de gloria.
Es la seguridad
de la presencia de Cristo la que nos libra del temor, la angustia, la
desesperación. Es esa presencia la que nos hace cambiar nuestras vidas para
siempre, y la que nos permite ver la existencia con nuevos colores de
esperanza, gozo y compromiso con su reino.
Cuando vienen
las pruebas duras de la vida ¿sentimos nosotros como una realidad la presencia
de Cristo en nuestras vidas?
Oración: Señor, hoy te sentimos muy dentro
nuestro como un torrente de bendición que salta para vida eterna. Amén.
