Anniversary of the Church in Taguasco

FOR GOD THERE ARE NO DIFFERENCES

Acts 10: 34-38

Then Peter began to speak to them: “I truly understand that God shows no partiality. . . .”

During our lifetime we have been everywhere when it comes to fortunate and unfortunate.

We have not always been in the place of the privileged.

At one time or another we have experienced the avalanche of gain that means being fortunate for something special, whether materially or spiritually speaking, as well as the misfortune of what it means to be excluded, marginalized and oppressed for one reason or another.

However, we have known a unique space where there is always a privileged place for everyone without exceptions, and without a doubt, it is the Church of Jesus Christ. This passage reminds us that God does not show favoritism. It makes no difference our nationality, race, sex, social status or anything else, because God loves all of us equally. Accept all who seek to do the right thing. Thereby, God challenges us not to judge others by their appearance or circumstances, but to see them as beloved children of God. God is love, and his infinite love for us should inspire us to be able to love those around us and to accept them just as they are without prejudices.

Let us give this love as Jesus did. Therefore, let us seek to do good wherever we go and be bearers of God's love and grace to those around us.

 

Prayer: Lord, today may we be able to do the good in all that we do and say. May we show your immense love in every moment. May we be able to show the true faith that we profess where all are welcomed, accepted and loved by you. Amen.

Aniversario de la Iglesia en Taguasco

PARA DIOS NO HAY DIFERENCIAS

Hechos 10: 34-38

Pedro entonces comenzó a hablar y dijo: Ahora entiendo que de veras Dios no hace diferencia entre una persona y otra.

Hechos 10:34

Durante nuestra vida hemos estado en todos los lugares cuando de afortunados y desafortunados se habla.

No siempre hemos estado en el lugar de los privilegiados.

Alguna que otra vez hemos experimentado la avalancha de ganancias que significa el ser afortunados por algo en especial, ya sea material o espiritualmente hablando, así como también hemos vivido la desdicha de lo que significa ser excluido, marginado y oprimido por alguna razón.

Sin embargo, hemos conocido un único espacio donde siempre hay un lugar privilegiado para todos sin excepciones. Y sin dudas esta es la Iglesia de Jesucristo. Y el pasaje nos recuerda que Dios no muestra favoritismo. No importa nuestra nacionalidad, raza, sexo, estatus social, u otros, porque Dios nos ama a todos por igual. Acepta a todos los que buscan hacer lo correcto. Por ello nos desafía a no juzgar a los demás por su apariencia o circunstancias, sino a verlos como hijos amados de Dios. Dios es amor, y su infinito amor por nosotros, nos debe inspirar para que podamos amar a los demás y aceptarles tal y como son sin prejuicios.

Regalemos este amor como Jesús lo hizo. Por ello busquemos hacer el bien dondequiera que vayamos y seamos portadores del amor y la gracia de Dios para aquellos que nos rodean.

 

Oración: Señor, que hoy podamos hacer el bien en todo lo que hagamos y digamos. Que en todo momento mostremos tu inmenso amor. Que podamos mostrar la verdadera fe que profesamos donde todos y todas son bienvenidos, aceptados y amados por ti. Amén.
