CULTIVATING THE FERTILE HEART

Mark 4: 1-20

Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up, grew and produced a crop, some multiplying thirty, some sixty, some a hundred times.

Let us reflect upon the parable of the sower.

In Cuba, where the land often faces challenges, we remember the importance of cultivating a heart that is receptive to the Word of God.

Just as the seed that falls on fertile soil produces fruit, let us seek to keep our hearts open to the teachings of Jesus even though the soil is not the most appropriate. Even though we face adversities, let us trust that the Holy Spirit can and does grow abundant fruits in our lives.

Let us pray for a receptive and fertile heart in the midst of trials. May the Word of God flourish, transforming our lives and our society.

 

Prayer: Lord, we ask you to endow us with a heart of good soil so that the seed of your good and just Word may bear fruit in our lives and those around us. Amen.

CULTIVANDO EL CORAZÓN FÉRTIL

Marcos 4: 1-20

Otros, en fin, son como la semilla que cayó en tierra fértil: oyen el mensaje, lo reciben y dan fruto al treinta, al sesenta o al ciento por uno.

Reflexionemos sobre la parábola del sembrador.

En Cuba, donde la tierra a menudo enfrenta desafios, recordamos la importancia de cultivar un corazón receptivo a la Palabra de Dios.

Asi como la semilla que cae en tierra fértil produce fruto, busquemos mantener nuestros corazones abiertos a las enseñanzas de Jesús aunque el terreno no sea el más apropiado. Aunque enfrentamos adversidades, confiemos en que el Espiritu Santo puede y hace crecer frutos abundantes en nuestras vidas.

Oremos por un corazón receptivo y fértil en medio de las pruebas. Que la Palabra de Dios florezca, transformando nuestras vidas y nuestra sociedad.

 

Oración: Señor, te pedimos nos dotes de un corazón con buena tierra para que la semilla de tu Palabra buena y justa, fructifique en nuestras vidas y las que nos rodean. Amén.
