SHARING BURDENS

GALATIANS 6: 1-10

Carry each other´s burdens,

and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

Galatians 6:2

 Many of us remain solitary despite the number of people we see daily in our hectic lives. Many studies show that today, more than ever, people want relationships that have meaning. People are looking for something more than superficial connections.

God didn’t create us to be alone; we need each other. It’s for that reason we’re Christians; we’re called to support each other, and to help construct, in community, one another’s faith.

Thus, as God loves us and establishes a personal and close relationship through his Son Jesus Christ, we are called to mutually strengthen each other, to promote an open and honest discourse, practicing patience and knowing that God hasn’t completed his work for humanity.

Taking Jesus, who was able to give his life for us, as a paradigm, may we be capable of giving support, strength, and friendship to the people who need it, whether at home, work, in church or other places.

    

Christ’s love allows us to bear each other’s burdens.

Prayer:  Father in heaven, help me to love others in the same way you have loved me, through Jesus’ merits. Amen

COMPARTIENDO LAS CARGAS

GÁLATAS 6: 1-10

Llevad unos las cargas de los otros,

y cumplid así la ley de Cristo.

Gálatas 6:2

A pesar del número de personas que vemos diariamente en nuestras agitadas vidas, muchos de nosotros nos mantenemos solitarios. Muchos estudios demuestran que hoy en día, más que nada, las personas desean relaciones que tengan significado. Las personas buscan algo más que relaciones superficiales.  Y es que Dios no  nos creó para estar solos , necesitamos a Dios y nos necesitamos  los unos a los otros. Y para eso es que estamos los cristianos y las cristianas, estamos llamados a apoyarnos y ayudarnos a construir en comunidad la fe de cada uno.

Así como Dios nos ama y establece una relación personal y  cercana a través de su Hijo Jesucristo, nosotros somos llamados para fortalecernos mutuamente. No corresponde fomentar una comunicación abierta y honesta, practicando la paciencia  sabiendo que Dios no ha terminado su labor para con la humanidad.

Teniendo a Jesús como paradigma, quien fue capaz de entregar  su vida por nosotros, seamos capaces de dar apoyo, fortaleza y  amistad a las personas que la necesiten, ya sea en el hogar, en el trabajo, en la Iglesia, o en otros espacios.

El amor de  Cristo nos capacita para sobrellevarnos las cargas los unos a los otros.

Oración: Padre celestial, ayúdame a amar a otros de la misma manera que tú me has amado, por los méritos de Jesús. Amén
