GOD IS LIGHT, STRENGTH, CONFIDENCE
PSALM 27:1-3

The Lord is my light and my salvation

Psalm 27:1 (NIV)

I have never felt as strengthened as I was in the final months of the year just ended. God has enabled me to feel this way despite all the trials I am going through. And I am sure that’s the way it will be in the years God has left for me to live.

There is no light that radiates more confidence in life than the light that emanates from God. We may find much darkness on the path we are traveling; indeed, it may be full of obstacles. His light will guide us, if we hold it high and grasp it firmly.

When we pass through the big storms of life and the most tempestuous sea possible with trust and confidence in God, we experience the security that we are not alone. God will give us his hand and will be our salvation. There are no battles in our lives we will not win if our Captain is always beside us, fighting with us and inviting us to fight the good fight. We will certainly obtain the victory with him at our side.

Prayer: Father, give us the strength we need to win each day’s battles. Amen.

DIOS ES LUZ, FORTALEZA, CONFIANZA.
SALMO 27:1-3

Jehová es mi luz y mi salvación

Salmo 27:1

Nunca me había sentido tan fortalecido como en los  últimos meses del año que terminó.  Dios así me lo ha permitido, a pesar de todas las pruebas por las cuales estoy pasando. Y estoy seguro que así será también en el resto de los años que Él me permita vivir.

No hay luz que irradie  más confianza en la vida que la luz que brota de Él. Podremos tener mucha oscuridad en el camino que estemos transitando, incluso aunque esté lleno de obstáculos. Su luz será la que nos guíe, siempre y cuando la tengamos en alto y la sostengamos con firmeza.

Las grandes tormentas de la vida, el mar más embravecido que haya, cuando se cruzan con fe y confianza en Él, experimentamos esa seguridad de que no estamos solos. Dios nos dará su mano y será nuestra salvación. No hay combates en nuestras vidas de los que no salgamos victoriosos si nuestro Capitán  está siempre a nuestro lado peleando con nosotros, pidiéndonos que luchemos con fortaleza la buena batalla. Con certeza a su lado obtendremos la victoria.

Oración: Padre, danos la fortaleza que necesitamos para ganar las batallas de cada día. Amén.
