ALWAYS BENEATH HIS WINGS
PSALM 91:1-12
…you’ll find refuge
under his wings….
Psalm 91:4 CEB
The people
of Israel had experienced difficult times.
They had been defeated, banished, mocked, and separated from their
temple. But after awhile, the blessed
hand of God restored them to their land.
Upon their
return, they faced the problem of having to live in a land that had been devastated. Nevertheless, the people shouted with joy and
praised the Lord as they began anew and rebuilt the Temple.
I have been
through unhappy moments: the death of a loved one, a financial crisis, the loss
of a job, moving far away from my friends.
Reflecting
on all that has happened in my life, I remember good and bad times. Every day brings us all types of experiences
and offers us the opportunity to begin anew.
What opportunities is God offering you to begin anew? God took care of me and you in the past and God
will take care of us today and always.
Prayer: O God, how blessed we
are to receive your grace and love. Help
us to proclaim your faithfulness to all who wish to listen to you. Amen.

debajo de sus alas estarás seguro….

91:4
El pueblo de Israel había experimentado tiempos difíciles. Habían sido
derrotados, desterrados, escarnecidos y separados de su templo. Pero tiempo
después, la mano bendita de Dios los restauró a su tierra.
A su regreso se enfrentaron con el problema de tener que vivir en una
tierra que había sido asolada. Sin embargo, “todo el pueblo gritaba de alegría
y alababa al Señor” al comenzar de nuevo y reedificar el Templo.
Yo he pasado por momentos infelices: la muerte de un ser querido, un revés
económico, la pérdida de empleo, el mudarme lejos de mis amistades.
Al reflexionar todo lo que ha acontecido en mi vida, recuerdo tiempos
buenos y malos.
Cada día nos trae todo tipo de experiencia y nos brinda la oportunidad de
comenzar de nuevo.
¿Qué oportunidades te está brindando Dios para comenzar de nuevo? Dios
cuidó de mí y de ti en el pasado y cuidará de mí y de ti, hoy y por siempre.
Oración: Oh Dios, cuán bendecidos somos debido a tu gracia y
amor. Ayúdanos a proclamar tu fidelidad a todos los que desean escucharte. Amén.
