I WILL REAP THE GOOD I HAVE SOWN

LUKE 8:15

But as for that seed in the good soil, these are the ones who, when they hear the word,

hold it fast in an honest and good heart, and bear fruit with patient endurance.

Luke 8:15 (NRSV)

It takes patience to plant a tree, to wait for it to take root, grow and reach maturity. It takes patience to wait for the fruit, patience born of the faith that the fruit will surely come.

The same thing happens with prayer. When we pray to the Lord, we need patience to hope that our prayers will bear the desired fruit in God’s time. We won’t see the fruit instantly, but neither is prayer a momentary act. We must live a prayerful life, a faithful testimony of obedience and service to our God. Everything we say or do must be subject to God’s will.

We who pray obey a law of fulfillment. Our patience waits for the law to be fulfilled and we are rewarded with the fruit of the prayer that is answered.

Prayer: Lord, I hope in you because I know that your response to my prayer is like the good fruit that comes in its own time. Help me to lead a prayerful life and to submit my will to yours. Amen.

Pero la semilla que cayó en buena tierra, son las personas que con corazón bueno y dispuesto escuchan y hacen caso del mensaje y, permaneciendo firmes, dan una buena cosechaY

Se necesita paciencia para sembrar un árbol, esperar que eche raíces, crezca y brote a la madurez. Toma paciencia esperar el fruto, paciencia nacida de la fe en que seguramente, el fruto vendrá.

Asimismo, ocurre con la oración. Cuando oramos al Señor, necesitamos paciencia para esperar que nuestras oraciones obtendrán el fruto deseado en el tiempo de Dios. El fruto no lo veremos de manera instantánea. Pero la oración no es tampoco un acto momentáneo. Debemos vivir una vida orante, un testimonio fiel de obediencia y servicio a nuestro Dios. Es preciso que todo lo que hagamos y digamos esté sometido a su voluntad.

Nosotros que oramos, obedecemos una ley de cumplimiento. Nuestra paciencia espera que la ley se cumpla y somos recompensados con el fruto de la oración que nos da respuesta.

Oración: Señor, paciente espero en ti, porque sé que tu respuesta a mi oración es como el buen fruto que llega a su tiempo. Ayúdame a llevar una vida orante y a someter mi voluntad a la tuya. Amén.
