YOUR FIRM HAND

Psalm  37:23-24

we shall not fall headlong,  for the Lord holds us by the hand.

Psalm 37:24 (MRSV)

The wonder of our all powerful God is that he knows our hearts. There are days that we succumb to responding or acting according to the flesh. However, God loves us deeply and and is faithful, even when we aren’t able to be faithful. Just as a father holds his son’s hand, God takes ours in his and helps us all the way along our journey.

The Lord knows that there are times in which we stumble. We can even turn away from God by engaging in that same activity that made us call out to the Lord begging his salvation for the first time. But God’s Word assures us that God’s love is eternal and when we call on his name, God hears us.

Don’t be discouraged by guilt over those stumbling stones that we encounter in our journey, because the Lord is always with you. The Scriptures tell us that we are in the palm of God’s hand. There is hope in the Lord. He takes delight in us and wants to bestow the best on us because his love is perfect.

Prayer: Lord and God, the cross for sinners like me. I give thanks that you loved me enough to choose me and I have accepted the free gift of salvation. Amen.

SU MANO FIRME

Salmo  37:23-24
