WHERE IS THE STRENGTH?

2 Timothy 4:1-11

I have fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith.

2 Timothy 4:7 (CEB)

As human beings we travel through life threatened by natural disasters, accidents or tiny germs that live with us. It is incredible how the balance of nature that shelters us is sustained, and how easily it can be brought down. In our country the threat of cyclones goes from season to season. Every year we prepare for the worst, estimating what is to happen to us.  With almost conformity we look hard at the prognosis of what is likely to happen.

Significantly we do not notice that we are always trapead in the cycles of the natural. Faced with uncertainty, in need of calm and proportional amounts of confidence to set aside the fear that these circumstances inspire, we attempt to preserve our energies.

At times like this, even in the more common time, there is something that transcends us. It is responsable for encouraging us with that superior strength that is always there for us, although not all of us can feel it the same.

Prayer:  God of life, increase our faith. Give us strength for the good fight. Amen.

¿DONDE ESTA LA FUERZA?

2 Timoteo 4:1-11

He peleado la buena batalla, he acabad la carrera, he guardado la fe.

2 Timoteo 4:7
