TO CONQUER

Joshua 1

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.

Joshua 1:9 (NIV)

Many people think that prosperity and success come from having power, personal contacts and an unrelenting desire to advance.

But the strategy for success that God taught Joshua contradicts such criteria. He told him that to prosper he must:

            Be strong and courageous because the task that awaited him was not easy.

            Obey the Law of God.

            Constantly read and study the book of the law. That is, the word of God

Therefore, anyone who considers himself a good Christian, in order to succeed, must follow the advice that God gave Joshua.

They may not succeed according to the world’s standards, but they will succeed in the sight of God; and the Lord’s opinion lasts forever.

 

Prayer: Loving Father, grant that as your children, that we may fully obey your Word.

PARA LA CONQUISTA

Josué 1

Mira que te mando que te esfuerces y seas valiente, no temas, ni desmayes, porque Jehová tu Dios estará contigo en donde quiera que vayas...

Josué 1:9

Muchas personas piensan que la prosperidad y el éxito provienen de tener poder, contactos personales y un inexorable deseo de avanzar.

Pero la estrategia para el éxito que Dios le enseñó a Josué contradice tales criterios. Él le dijo que para prosperar debía:

 Ser fuerte y valiente porque la tarea que le esperaba no era fácil.

 Obedecer la Ley de Dios.

 Constantemente leer y estudiar el libro de la ley, que es la Palabra de Dios.

Por eso, todo aquel que se considere un buen cristiano, para tener éxito debe seguir los consejos que Dios le dio a Josué.

Es posible que no triunfe según las normas del mundo, pero triunfará ante los ojos de Dios;  y la opinión del Señor dura para siempre.

 

Oración: Padre amado,  permite que como hijos tuyos, podamos obedecer cabalmente tu Palabra. Amén.
