WHO WOULD BE THE MOST TRUSTWORTHY!

Hebrews 12

See to it that no one fails to obtain the grace of God

Hebrews 12:15 (NRSV)

In these days we often find people who say, “I don’t believe in anything or anyone.” However, they are confident in the bus or train schedule, or in the diagnosis of a doctor. And so, it dos not really seem possible to live without trusting in something or someone. And the question we must ask ourselves is whether the object of our trust is truly worthy of it.

All of humanity believes in something, whether it be political, philosophical, or some other ideas; however, what is essential is not to believe, if one thinks of it as a rational acceptance of certain postulates, but rather putting our trust in what is true, what is reliable.

So then, who would be more reliable than God himself, who has been at the side of humanity for more than two thousand years and who died on the cross for us? As Peter would say in his time: to whom shall we go? Only in Jesus do we find word of eternal life, but we are exhorted to work out our salvation with fear and trembling, recognizing that it is God himself who is at work in us, enabling us to will and to do the work. (Philippians 2:12-13)

Prayer: Father, forgive us our sins and make us better human beings every day. We ask especially today for your Church. Bless those whom you have called to bear witness of your grace. Amen.

¡QUIÉN SERÍA MÁS FIABLE!

Hebreos 12
