TRUST!
JOB 11:13-19

You will be secure, because there is hope;
you will look about you and take your seat in safety.

Job 11:18

There’s an old refrain that says: there is danger in trust. We often repeat it unaware of the meaning of that popular phrase these days. I am a particularly distrustful person; I have experienced quite a few disappointments. However, God continually invites us to cultivate trust.

Trust is part of the security over which we do not have absolute control in our lives and its events. We have to yield to God’s surprises, although we may feel insecure on occasion.

We should trust in ourselves without believing ourselves to be self-sufficient. We should trust in our neighbor, even at the cost of being wounded. God invites us to recognize what is beautiful in each human being.

And above all, we should trust in God, in his daily provision, in his infinite love that is capable of transforming our laments into dance.

I invite you today to practice trust. God will not let you down!

Prayer:  Faithful God, help us to do what is correct and to trust in you amid our tribulations. Let us constantly cultivate trust in our lives. Amen.

¡CONFIANZA!
JOB 11: 13-19

Tendrás confianza porque hay esperanza;
mirarás alrededor y dormirás seguro
Job 11:18

¡Dios no te decepcionará!
