COME
TO ME, ALL OF YOU…
ACTS
2:36-40
…God
has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ…repent…for the
forgiveness of your sins…
Acts 2:36-37.
There
are a great number of people around us today who are anxious to know God, to
hear about our experiences as Christians and about our faith. These days, we
can see how they approach us and ask to know about God, about his word and
other issues related to the life of the Church. Some people even ask us for
literature and bibles; and these are used to find the strength and the hope to
help them to face the crises they encounter in their homes or in their daily
lives.
We
are undoubtedly living in difficult times in which the revelation of the word
of God is necessary for all those who need it. If we look backwards and ignore
the way that we should show to those who do not know Jesus Christ, if we forget
that Christ told us to be his witnesses, we are willing to be turned into
pillars of salt without heart or reasoning.
Christ
said: “Come to me, all you who are weary
and burdened, and I will give you rest.” [Matthew 11:28] and “…there will be more rejoicing in heaven
over one who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to
repent.” [Luke 15:7]
We
should be ready to open our church doors, our arms and our hearts to those who
are seeking our Lord and who see their salvation in him.
Prayer:
We pray for a happy encounter with you Lord, for a
spiritual, comforting and assured peace.

HECHOS 2:36-40
…A este Jesús… Dios le ha hecho
Señor y Cristo…
arrepentíos, para perdón de sus
pecados…
Hechos 2:36-37.
Hoy día, una gran parte de las
personas que nos rodean están ansiosas de conocer a Dios, de escuchar nuestras vivencias como cristianos
y nuestra fe.
En estos tiempos, vemos como se nos
acercan y nos piden saber de Dios, de su palabra y de otras cuestiones
relacionadas con la vida de la Iglesia. Algunas personas nos piden hasta literatura y
Biblias; pues éstas son utilizadas para encontrar las fuerzas y
esperanzas que les ayuden a enfrentar las crisis que viven en sus hogares o en
la vida cotidiana.
Es indudable que estamos viviendo
tiempos difíciles en que se hace muy necesaria la revelación de la palabra de Dios a todos
aquellos que la necesitan. Mirar atrás, apartando la vista del camino que debemos de mostrarle
a aquellos que no conocen a Jesucristo, olvidándonos de lo que dijo Cristo: “… me seréis testigos”; es estar dispuestos convertirnos
en estatuas sin corazón ni raciocinio.
Cristo dijo: Venid a mi todos
los que estáis agobiados y cargados que yo os haré descansar … hay mas regocijo
en el reino de los cielos por un pecador que se arrepiente, que por mil justos
en la tierra .
Debemos de estar prestos a abrir
nuestras puertas del Templo, nuestros brazos y nuestros corazones a aquellos
que buscan de nuestro Señor y que ven en él su salvación.
Oración: Rogamos por un encuentro feliz
contigo Señor, por una paz espiritual, confortable y segura. Amén.
