COMMITMENT IN LIFE
MATTHEW 4:1-11
But he answered, “It is written,
‘One does not live by bread alone,
but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”

Matthew 4:4 (NRSV)
I’m constantly postponing until later things that need to be done in my house, especially in my room, since I work six days a week, I postpone doing these things from day to day.
Often, in the same way, we postpone being in God’s presence. We have been comfortably changed into Sunday Christians and think that we are Christians simply because we were born in a Christian family.
To live as Christians is to know how to integrate Christ into our daily lives. It is to have a continuous relation with Christ throughout all our lives by which we grow, develop, and discover new facets of true Christian living. It is to give our whole being to God so that he can form, shape, direct and change it. It is to invite Christ to be Lord of our mind, body and soul. It is the possibility that others may come near to God through our feeling, our thinking, our actions, our lives.

Prayer: Lord, teach us to keep the discipline of dedicated time to be in communion with you. Use us to carry out your purposes in our lives. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

COMPROMISO EN LA VIDA
MATEO 4:1-11
