Blessed are those who see and hear

Matthew 13: 10-17

He replied, “Because the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance.

God has given us the ability to listen and understand through the spirit.

When Jesus spoke in parables, he did so to better illustrate his teachings. They were not meaningless stories, but rather, they were a way of teaching using concrete examples of daily life of the times.

Today we approach the parables of Jesus with the desire to discover all the teachings that Jesus left to his people. Today we have the ability to listen and discern His Word.

Let us give ourselves the opportunity to meet Jesus with ears ready to listen.

Let us enjoy the privilege of seeing Jesus at work in the lives of all people.

Let us embrace the Gospel in our hearts.

Let us treasure what we have learned from God and practice His teachings with humility and patience.

Let us help others to discover God’s message for their lives.

 

Prayer: Lord, give us understanding and comprehension to receive your teachings. Fill us with your wisdom. Make us prosperous in your Word. Cleanse our ears and our minds to receive what we need to hear from You.

Dichosos los que ven y escuchan

Mateo 13: 10-17

A los que escuchan mis enseñanzas se les dará máscomprensión, y tendrán conocimiento en abundancia.

Mateo 13: 12

Dios nos ha dado la capacidad de la escucha y del entendimiento por medio del espíritu.

Cuando Jesús hablaba en parábolas, lo hacía para ilustrar mejor sus enseñanzas. No eran historias sin sentido, sino una manera de enseñar con ejemplos concretos la vida cotidiana de su tiempo.

Hoy nos acercamos a las parábolas de Jesús con el deseo de descubrir todas las enseñanzas que Jesús le dejó a supueblo. Hoy tenemos la capacidad de escuchar y discernir su Palabra.

Démonos la oportunidad de ir al encuentro con Jesús con los oídos dispuestos a escuchar.

Disfrutemos el privilegio de ver a Jesús actuando en lavida de todas las personas.

Abracemos en nuestros corazones el Evangelio.

Atesoremos lo que de Dios hemos aprendido y practiquemos con humildad y paciencia sus enseñanzas.

Ayudemos a que otras y otros pueden descubrir el mensaje que Dios tiene para sus vidas.

 

Oración: Señor, danos comprensión y entendimiento para recibir tus enseñanzas. Llénanos de tu sabiduría. Haznos prósperos en tu Palabra. Limpia nuestros oído sy nuestras mentes para recibir lo que de ti necesitamos escuchar. Amén.
