Be a good seed

Matthew 13: 18-23

But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it.

Matthew 13: 23 (NIV)

To be good seed is to fall on fertile soil, and that soil is God. Together with Him, He has planted you and has dedicated time to your care and protection, so that in the midst of plagues, you can remain strong.

Take advantage of the fertilizer that God waters on you every day. Prepare yourself to grow with your own light. God has given you everything you need to be a good fruit or a good tree.

Don’t be like those seeds that fall where others want to step on you. Don’t be the seed that takes in insults, deceit and criticism from others that grow only superficially.

Moreover, be a good seed because he who planted you expects the best from you. And may other seeds feed on you. Be a good fruit, so tasty that you are the favorite fruit. Be a good tree that provides shade for the good people who can rest from their day-to-day efforts to do good.

You are the good seed that God put in the soil.

 

Prayer: Our Father, thank you because your spirit nourishes me every day. Thank you for making me grow in love and simplicity, and for watering me with your water of life. Let it always be so, Lord. Amen.

Sé una buena semilla

Mateo 13: 18-23

Las semillas que caen en buena tierra son los que oyeny entienden la Palabra de Dios.

Mateo 13: 23

Ser buena semilla es caer en tierra fértil, y esa tierra es Dios. Junto a Él te ha sembrado, ha dedicado tiempo a tu cuidado y protección, a que en medio de plagas puedas seguir fuerte.

Aprovecha el abono que Dios riega sobre ti todos los días. Prepárate para crecer con luz propia. Dios te ha dado todo lo necesario para que seas un buen fruto o un buen árbol.

No seas como esas semillas que caen donde otros quieren para después pisotearte. No seas semilla para que recibir insultos, engaños, críticas de otras que crecen que en lo superficial.

Más bien, sé una buena semilla porque quien te sembró espera de ti lo mejor. Y que de ti otras semillas puedan alimentarse. Sé un buen fruto, tan sabroso que seas la fruta preferida, sé un buen árbol que desombra para el descanso de la buena gente que se esfuerza día a día y hacen el bien.

Eres la buena semilla que Dios puso en su tierra.

 

Oración: Padre nuestro, gracias porque tu espíritu me alimenta todos los días. Gracias porque tú me haces crecer en amor y sencillez, porque tú me riegas con tu agua de vida. Que así pueda ser siempre, Señor. Amén.
