THE GOD OF THE LITTLE CORNERS

There are moments in life when we have to go through seasons of sudden changes or difficult situations. The road then seems to close.

Something similar happened to me a while ago. Several situations “came together,” and the difficulties seemed to accumulate. A great friend accompanied me at that time with the following words. “God is the God of the little corners,” where it seems like the road closes, the miracle opens.

Part of the mystery of miracles is that we don’t see them unfold until they already happen.

This is how it happened to me: when it seemed that the road was closed, then the opportunity opened.

In the two situations presented in this text, the miracle arises in the midst of difficulties as a result of the faith of its participants. Two examples of the “God of the little corners,” working in people’s lives.

 

Prayer: God, open my eyes to see how you do miracles in my life, and in the lives of those around me. Amen.

El Dios de las esquinitas

Hay momentos en la vida en que nos toca pasar por temporadas de cambios repentinos o por situaciones difíciles. El camino entonces pareciera que se cierra.

A mí me pasó algo parecido hace un tiempo. Varias situaciones se “juntaron” y las dificultades parecían acumularse. Una gran amiga, me acompañó en esos momentos con las siguientes palabras. “Dios es el Dios de las esquinitas.” Allí donde parece que el camino se cierra es que se abre el milagro.

Parte del misterio de los milagros es que no vemos que se están desarrollando hasta que ya suceden.

Así me paso a mí, cuando parecía que se cerraba el camino, se abrió la oportunidad.

En las dos situaciones presentadas en este texto el milagro surge en medio de las dificultades como resultado de la fe de sus participantes. Dos ejemplos del “Dios de las esquinitas” obrando en las vidas de las personas.

 

Oración: Dios, abre mis ojos para ver como haces milagros en mi vida y en la vida de quienes me rodean. Amén.
