SOWING THE SEEEDS OF THE GOOD NEWS

Isaiah 55: 10-11

As the rain and snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth, and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the Sower and bread for the eater, so too is my word that comes from my mouth, it will not return to me empty, but accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. Isaiah 55: 10-11

There are diverse visions that reaffirm how difficult the current times are in the development and life of human beings. However, in the midst of all these harsh realities, God’s creation strives to show us the richness and fullness of a life full of hope.

The rain and snow caress with their freshness and softness every last molecule of the space where they lie. Every valley, every planting, all the dust of the city and all the sand of the island and the desert, are drunk with its essence; This is how the Word of God proclaimed by Christians must be: clean, fresh and pure, constituting this act a sincere commitment to the workers in the Lord’s vineyard. The legacy of good news from Jesus of Nazareth has to be announced at all times and places; so that the truths of his Kingdom can sprout, flourish and bear fruit, even though there are rough roads, lacerated bodies and insensitive hearts.

Casting the seed is not enough! Our beautiful task of planting and watering requires preparation, time, and implies care and responsibility.

 

Prayer: Lord, May we be able to show the love, purity and simplicity of your words through our daily practices; We believe it is the best way to sow your seed on this earth. Amen.

Sembrando la semilla de la buena noticia

Isaías 55: 10-11

Porque como desciende de los cielos la lluvia y la nieve, y no vuelve allá, sino que riega la tierra, y la hace germinar y producir, y da semilla al que siembra, y pan al que come, así serámi palabra que sale de mi boca; no volverá a mí vacía, sino que hará lo que yo quiero, y será prosperada en aquello para que la envié

Isaías 55: 10-11

Son diversas las visiones que reafirman lo difícil que transcurren los tiempos actuales en el desarrollo y la vida de los seres humanos; sin embargo, en medio de todas estas duras realidades, la creación de Dios se empeña en mostrarnos la riqueza y plenitud de una vida colmada de esperanzas.

La lluvia y la nieve acarician con su frescura y suavidad hasta la última molécula del espacio donde yacen. Todo valle, toda siembra, todo el polvo de la ciudad y toda la arena de la isla y el desierto, se embriagan de su esencia; así debe ser la Palabra deDios proclamada por las cristianas y los cristianos: limpia, fresca y pura, constituyendo este actuar un sincero compromiso para los trabajadores de la viña del Señor. El legado de buenas nuevasde Jesús de Nazaret tiene que ser anunciado en todo tiempo y lugar; para que las verdades de su Reino puedan brotar, florecer y dar frutos, aunque existan los caminos escabrosos, los cuerpos lacerados y los corazones insensibles.

¡Lanzar la semilla no es suficiente! Nuestra hermosa tarea desembrar y regar requiere de preparación, de tiempo, e implica cuidados y responsabilidad.

 

Oración: Que el amor, la pureza y la sencillez de tus palabras, Señor, las podamos manifestar por medio de nuestras prácticas cotidianas; creemos es la mejor manera de sembrar tu semilla en esta tierra. Amén.
