FULFILLING OUR DUTY

Matthew 24: 42-51

It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns.

I am a cook for a Project that helps feed a group of vulnerable people that the Church serves twice a month.

It is faith that drives us to act for the good of people who need our help.

This is why it is so important that we look inside ourselves to see what drives us to help others. If it is the desire to serve, love, hope, solidarity, the joy of life, then we are on the right path.

Encourage yourself to be ready, put your life in God’s hands and walk in faith. 

 

Prayer: Lord, we are active in your work to be thankful each day. Help us to live with strength and hope. Amen.

JUEVES, 31 DE AGOSTO

CUMPLIR CON EL DEBER

Mateo 24: 42-51

Dichoso el criado a quien su amo, cuando llega, lo encuentra cumpliendo con su deber.

Mateo 24:46

Soy cocinera de un Proyecto de ayuda en la alimentación a un grupo de personas vulnerables a las que la Iglesia presta servicio dos veces al mes.

Es la fe la que nos impulsa a obrar para el bien de las personas que necesitan nuestra ayuda.

Por eso es importante que miremos en nuestro interior lo que nos impulsa a ayudar a los demás. Si es el deseo de servir, el amor, la esperanza, la solidaridad, la alegria de la vida, entonces estamos en buen camino.

Animate a estar dispuesto, pon tu vida en las manos de Dios y camina con fe.

 

Oración: Señor, estamos activos en tu obra para agradecer cada dia. Ayúdanos a vivir con fuerza y esperanza. Amén.

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 30th

THE DARKNESS AND THE LIGHT

Psalm 138:1-8

When I called, you answered me; you greatly emboldened me.

Psalm 138:3 (NIV)

Who among us has not invoked God in difficult situations? When we believe in Him, accept his purpose, and praise His name, we are closer to reality, and the sacrifice is not in vain.

Those who face trials with faith become stronger. Those of us who have experienced examples of faith know that those who cling to it live in peace and leave a path of hope.

How good it is to think of someone who in difficult moments says to you, “I’M ALRIGHT!” What a good vibe for the ones around that person. The Lord’s plans are perfect. Let us learn from what He has designed for each of us and has given to us with so much love.

 

Prayer: Lord, give us peace, hope, trust, and patience to live and give to others. Amen.

MIÉRCOLES, 30 DE AGOSTO

LA OSCURIDAD Y LA LUZ

Salmo 138:1-8

Cuando te llamé me respondiste y aumentaste mis fuerzas.

Salmo 138:3

¿Quien no ha invocado a Dios en situaciones difficiles? Cuando creemos en Él, aceptamos su propuesta y alabamos su nombre, estamos más cerca de la realidad y el sacrificio no es en vano.

Quien afronta las pruebas con fe, se vuelve más fuerte. Los que hemos vivido ejemplos de fe sabemos que los que se aferran a ella viven en paz y dejan un sendero de esperanza.

!Que bueno es pensar en alguien que en momentos difficiles te decfia ESTOY BIEN! !Cuánta buena vibra para el que la rodeaba! Los planes del Señor son perfectos. Aprendamos de lo que ha diseñado para cada uno y nos lo ha regalado con tanto amor.

 

Oración: Señor, dótanos de paz, esperanza, confianza y paciencia para vivir y dar a los demás. Amén.

TUESDAY, AUGUST 29th

OFFERING TO GOD

Matthew 23:23-26

But you have not practiced the more important things of the law, which are fairness, mercy and faithfulness.

Matthew 23:23 (NIV)

The tithe is a gift or offering to be used in God’s service. The amount of your income does not matter, you will be blessed.

The payment of the tithe manifests the faith you have in Jesus Christ. By placing your trust in Him, you will receive the strength, guidance and support you need in life. Let us put in what we have, not what is left over. Let us joyfully present our tithes and our offerings to the Lord.

Render to the Lord the glory due His name. To God, your little means a lot.

 

Prayer: Lord, use this offering for the common good. Bless the people who gave it with love. Amen.

MARTES, 29 DE AGOSTO

OFRENDA A DIOS

Mateo 23:23-26

No hacen caso de las enseñanzas más importantes de la ley, la justicia, la misericordia y la fidelidad.

Mateo 23:23

El diezmo es un donativo o una ofrenda para utilizarlos al servicio de Dios. No importa la cantidad de su ingreso, usted será bendecido.

El pago del diezmo manifiesta la fe que usted tiene en Jesucristo. Al depositar su confianza en Él, usted recibirá la fortaleza, la gufia y el apoyo que necesita en la vida. Echemos lo que tengamos, no lo que nos sobra. Presentemos al Señor con alegrfia nuestros diezmos y nuestras ofrendas.

Rindan al Señor la gloria debida a su nombre. Para Dios, tu poco significa mucho.

 

Oración: Usa Señor esta ofrenda en bien común. Bendice a las personas que la ofrendaron con amor. Amén.
