TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 25th

FILL YOURSELF WITH DOING GOOD

Psalm 36:3-4

The words of their mouths are wicked and deceitful; they fail to act wisely or do good.

Psalm 36:3 (NIV)

This Bible text speaks of all the evil that we have within us. It speaks of that evil that hurts us and does not allow us to grow, how at times we err in our ways of speaking and acting, how we cause pain to those around us. We leave behind the good and we become spiteful and hateful people. But, at the same time, as God’s mercy enlightens us, He sees through us, heals us, and redeems us. His compassion for the afflicted is immense, and in it we find that peace and that safe place that we need. For He fills us with infinite love and guides us on the path of good. These paths are paths of hope, where we will always find His light illuminating our steps.

Prayer: Lord, enlighten us on the path we should follow. May your wisdom and infinite love always accompany us and help us to make good decisions during difficult times. For you, Lord, know who we truly are, so do not let us do anything that will hurt those we love and who love us. Amen.

LLÉNATE DE LO QUE HACE BIEN.

Salmo 36.3-4

Las palabras de su boca son iniquidad y fraude; ha dejado de ser cuerdo y de hacer el bien.

Salmo 36.3

En el texto bíblico se habla de toda aquella maldad que tenemos dentro, aquella maldad que nos lacera y no nos deja crecer. Como a veces erramos en nuestra forma de hablar y actuar, como causamos dolor a aquellos que nos rodean.  Dejamos de hacer el bien y nos convertimos en personas rencorosas y llenas de odio. Pero, a su vez, como la misericordia de Dios nos ilumina, como Él ve a través de nosotros y nosotras y nos sana, nos redime. Su compasión por los afligidos es inmensa y en ella encontraremos esa paz y ese lugar seguro que necesitamos. Porque Él nos llena con su amor infinito y nos guía por caminos de bien. Senderos llenos de esperanza y donde siempre encontraremos su luz iluminando nuestros pasos.

Oración: Señor ilumínanos el camino que debemos seguir, que tu sabiduría y amor infinito siempre nos acompañen y nos ayude a tomar buenas decisiones en momentos difíciles. Porque tú, Señor, sabes quienes somos en verdad, así que no nos dejes hacer nada que lastime a aquellos que amamos y que nos aman. Amén.
