SEEK GOD’S JUSTICE

Jeremiah 11:18-20

...for to you I have committed my cause…

The prophet Jeremiah shares his terrible anguish in the face of the conspiracy being plotted against him, so with strength and confidence he raises a deep cry, seeking God and recognizing His justice and sovereignty. Jeremiah feels like a “lowly lamb” before those who seek to silence him, but his confidence lies in the understanding that the Father is just.

This cry reminds us that in the midst of betrayal and injustice, we can come before God. He is our refuge and support. In times of adversity, it is easy to be overcome by despair. However, this passage invites us to remember that God sees into the depths of our hearts and acts according to His justice.

During this Lenten season, let us reflect on our struggles and the injustices we face, as well as on how unjust we ourselves can be. Let us surrender our causes to the Lord, trusting that He will take care of every situation and give us the strength we need to remain steadfast and move forward.

Prayer: Lord, allow us to see your presence in our lives. Let us rest in your promise and justice. Amen.

BUSCA LA JUSTICIA DE DIOS

Jeremías 11:18-20

El profeta comparte una terrible angustia frente a la conspiración que se trama en su contra, por ello con fuerza y confianza levanta un clamor profundo, busca a Dios, reconociendo su justicia y soberanía. Jeremías se siente como un "manso cordero" ante aquellos que buscan silenciarlo, pero su confianza radica en el entendimiento de que el Padre es justo. Este clamor nos recuerda que en medio de la traición y la injusticia, podemos llegar ante Dios. Él es nuestro refugio y sostén. En tiempos de adversidad, es fácil dejarse llevar por la desesperación. Sin embargo, este pasaje nos invita a recordar que Dios ve en lo más profundo de nuestros corazones y actúa según su justicia. En esta Cuaresma reflexionemos sobre nuestras luchas y las injusticias que enfrentamos, también sobre lo injustos que podemos ser. Entreguemos nuestras causas al Señor, confiando en que Él, quien se encarga de cada situación y nos da la fortaleza necesaria para continuar firmes y adelantes.

Oración: Señor permite que podemos ver tu presencia en nuestras vidas .Permítenos descansar en tu promesa y justicia. Amén.
