GOD’S VOICE

Matthew 17:1-9

While he was still speaking, suddenly a bright cloud overshadowed them, and from the cloud a voice said, “This is my Son, the Beloved; with him I am well pleased; listen to him!”

How often do we devote our time to listening to God’s voice? We live in a society that is constantly surrounded by distractions, where people hardly talk and converse with each other, and sadly, phones and their accessories have taken center stage in our daily lives, further limiting face-to-face dialogue between people. So, what place do I give to Jesus if I do nothing each morning to listen to his message? I think that God is offering us an opportunity to be transformed by his grace and, in this way, to open ourselves to listening to everything he wants to show us through our relationships with our neighbors, to leave our limitations behind and thus allow us to hear his voice with all its sweetness and clarity.

Let us trust in his plans. Only he can whisper in our ears to give us a new opportunity to hear his message of love.

Prayer: Thank you, God, for life, and thank you for allowing me to hear the sounds of your creation every morning. Amen.

LA VOZ DE DIOS

Mateo 17:1-9

¿Cuántas veces dedicamos nuestro tiempo para escuchar la voz de Dios? Vivimos en una sociedad que permanentemente está rodeada de distracciones, las personas apenas hablan y conversan entre sí, y tristemente, los teléfonos con sus accesorios han tomado el protagonismo de los días limitando además el diálogo presencial entre personas. Entonces, ¿qué lugar le doy a Jesús si cada mañana no hago nada para escuchar su mensaje?Pienso que Dios nos está ofreciendo una oportunidad para que seamos transformados por su Gracia y de este modo, abrirnos a la escucha de todo lo que quiere mostrarnos desde nuestras relaciones con nuestro prójimo, para dejar atrás nuestras limitaciones y así permitir que escuchemos su voz con toda dulzura y claridad. Confiemos en sus planes, solo Él puede susurrar en nuestros oídos para darnos una nueva oportunidad para escuchar su mensaje de amor.

Oración : Gracias mi Dios por la vida, y gracias te doy porque cada mañana permites que pueda escuchar el sonido de tu creación. Amén.
