LET US WORK IN GOD’S VINEYARD

Isaiah 65:17-2

They will build houses and dwell in them; they will plant vineyards and eat their fruit.”

Isaiah 65:21 (NIV)

We live in times of discontent, each of us seeking ways to improve our lives.

In this pursuit, we leave many things and people behind. This passage, and many others, allude to the importance of building your home, living a full life, and reaping the fruits of your labor. Although many become discouraged and don’t want to build their lives, relationships, and families where they are, let us remember that God planted us where we are, and we have the capacity to flourish, transform, and beautify our surroundings.

Nothing lasts forever, and everything that has ever changed, whether for better or worse, is because there was someone courageous who remained and transformed things. Let us leave deep and beautiful footprints wherever we go and share hope. Perhaps we will never know if that little seed we sow will become the tree everyone seeks for its shade.

Prayer: God, even though I feel discontent, do not let me lose heart. With you, I will create, change, and rejoice until you so desire. Amen.

“TRABAJEMOS EN LA VIÑA DEL SEÑOR”

Isaías 65:17-21

“La gente construirá casas y vivirá en ellas, sembrara viñedos y comerá sus uvas.”

Vivimos tiempos de inconformidad, cada quien busca la manera de hacer y mejorar su vida.

En ese intento dejamos atrás muchas cosas y a personas. En este pasaje y en muchos otros textos se alude a la importancia de construir tu casa, vivir una vida plena y recoger los frutos de la siembra. Aunque muchos se desaniman y no quieren construir su vida, relaciones y familia en el lugar que se encuentran, recordemos que Dios nos sembró donde estamos y tenemos la capacidad de florecer, transformar y embellecer nuestro entorno. Nada es para siempre y todo lo que una vez cambió; ya sea para bien o no, es porque existió alguien valiente que permaneció y transformó las cosas. Dejemos huellas profundas y bonitas por donde pasemos y compartamos la esperanza. Quizás nunca sabremos si esa semillita que dejamos caer será el árbol que todos buscan por su sombra.

Oración: Dios aunque me sienta inconforme, no dejes que desanime, junto a ti crearé, cambiaré y me alegraré hasta que así lo quieras. Amén.
