RESURRECTION FROM WITHIN

Romans 8:8-11

But you are not in the flesh; you are in the Spirit, since the Spirit of God dwells in you.

Romans 8:9 (NRSV)

In this passage, we’re faced with a radical truth: the flesh cannot please God. But far from being a condemnation, this reminds us that authentic, transcendent life can only flourish when the Spirit of God dwells in us. The Spirit does not come to demand perfection; it comes to awaken life where there was once weariness. It’s not about denying the human, but about allowing the divine to pass through us. The body may be marked by pain, routine, and fatigue, but when it opens itself to the Spirit, it begins to breathe differently. It doesn’t demand that we be strong; it invites us to allow the Spirit to strengthen us. It doesn’t ask us to be perfect, but rather reminds us that we are inhabited by a presence that transforms us.

If there’s something in you today that seems dead, remember that just as Jesus rose from the dead, you too can resurrect your joy, your purpose, and your voice.

Prayer: Lord, may your Spirit dwell in me, enliven what is weary, and transform my life into a testimony of your power and grace. Amen.

RESUCITAR DESDE DENTRO

Romanos 8:8-11

Más vosotros que no vivís según la carne, sino según el Espíritu, sí que el Espíritu de Dios mora en vosotros

Romanos 8:9

Acá nos enfrentamos a una verdad radical, la carne no puede agradar a Dios. Pero esto lejos de ser una condena, nos recuerda que la vida auténtica, trasciende, solo puede florecer cuando el Espíritu de Dios habita en nosotros. El Espíritu no viene a exigir perfección, viene a despertar vida donde antes había desgaste. No se trata de negar lo humano, sino de permitir que lo divino nos atraviese. El cuerpo puede estar marcado por el dolor, por la rutina, por el cansancio, pero cuando se abre al Espíritu, comienza a respirar distinto. No nos exige que seamos fuertes, se nos invita a permitir que el Espíritu nos fortalezca. No nos pide que seamos perfectos, más nos recuerda que somos habitados por una presencia que nos transforma. Si hoy hay algo en ti que parece muerto, debes recordar que tal como Jesús resucitó, tú también puedes hacer resucitar tu alegría, tu propósito, tu voz.

Oración: Señor, que tu Espíritu habite en mí, vivifique lo que está cansado y transforme mi vida en testimonio de tu poder y gracia. Amén.
