INFINITE LOVE

Romans 5:5-8

But God proves his love for us in that while we still were sinners Christ died for us.

God’s love for us has no limits, is neither fragile nor conditional; it is an infinite love that shows itself in the cross of Christ.

In The Alchemist, Paulo Coelho describes true love as that which does not stop a person in their quest, but rather gives them strength to fulfill their destiny. God’s love is the same: it does not bind us with chains of fear, but rather impels us to live fully and feel forgiven for our sins.

We often feel that we have to act in order to earn God’s love, but that love has already been given to us through Jesus Christ, and therefore we no longer act to earn that love, but rather in response to the immense mercy of our God.

When we embrace that truth, we find rest and freedom. God’s infinite love not only saves us, but transforms us to love others with patience, forgiveness, and devotion.

Prayer: Lord, thank you for your infinite love that never runs out. Help us to trust in it and reflect it in our daily lives. Amen.

El amor de Dios por nosotros no tiene límites, no es frágil ni condicionado, es un amor infinito que se manifestó en la cruz de Cristo. En El alquimista, Paulo Coelho describe el amor verdadero como aquel que no detiene a la persona en su búsqueda, sino que le da fuerzas para cumplir su destino. Así mismo es el amor de Dios: no nos ata con cadenas de temor, sino que nos impulsa a vivir en plenitud y sintiéndonos perdonados por nuestros pecados. Muchas veces sentimos que tenemos que actuar para ganar el amor de Dios, sin embargo ese amor ya fue dado a nosotros a través de Jesucristo, y por tanto ya no actuamos para ganarnos ese amor, sino en respuesta de agradecimiento por la inmensa misericordia de nuestro Dios.Cuando abrazamos esta verdad, encontramos descanso y libertad. El amor infinito de Dios no solo nos salva, sino que nos transforma para amar a otros con paciencia, perdón y entrega.

Oración: Señor, gracias por tu amor infinito que nunca se agota. Ayúdanos a confiar en él y a reflejarlo en nuestra vida diaria. Amén
