 LET US FULFILL OUR TASK AND HE WILL DO HIS PART

2 CORINTHIANS 10:1-2

“By the meekness and gentleness of Christ, I appeal to you…”

2 Corinthians 10:1

Paul himself said:  “I can do everything in Christ who strengthens me.”  We need to be prepared for everything in life:  for an accident, for losing a loved one, for enduring an evil incident, etc.  All of us, as Christians, need to look toward Calvary when we feel that the cross we carry on our shoulders is bigger and heavier than we can bear, and the splendor of Christ victorious will make us more than victors. And at the same time he will give us the strength needed to move forward and this same cross will blind those who do not know how to act with righteousness.

When God calls, let us run the race that has been given to us to run with His patience, and let us fulfill our task, regardless of wars or storms rising against us. Let us ask God for strength and with confidence watch how “the wildflower of the field withers and is no longer.”

Prayer: We ask you, Lord, for strength and confidence to fulfill our task wherever we may be in need of it. Amen.

“…ruego por la mansedumbre y ternura de Cristo…”

2 Corintios 10:1

Dijo el mismo Pablo: “Todo lo puedo en Cristo que me fortalece”. En la vida debemos estar preparados para todo: para sufrir un accidente, para perder a un ser querido, para soportar una mala acción, etc. Todos, como cristianos, debemos mirar hacia el Calvario cuando sobre nuestros hombros tengamos que llevar una cruz más grande y pesada de la que podamos resistir y el resplandor de Cristo victorioso nos hará más que vencedores y a su vez nos dará las fuerzas necesarias para seguir adelante y esta misma cruz dejará ciegos a aquellos que no sepan obrar con justicia.

Cuando Dios llama, corramos con paciencia la carrera que nos ha sido propuesta por Él y cumplamos con nuestro deber, no importa que contra nosotros se levanten guerras ni tempestades. Pidámosle a Dios fortaleza y miremos con confianza “como la flor del campo se cae y su lugar no se le conoce más”

Oración: Te pedimos Señor, fortaleza y confianza para cumplir con nuestro deber en cualquier lugar que se nos necesite. Amén.
