Monday, September 14; FREE TO WORK

FREE TO WORK

JOHN 9:1-7

Jesus said to him,” Go and wash in the pool of Siloam” (this word means sent). So The man went away and washed. When he returned, he could see.

John 9:7 (CEB)

My computer is a wonderful tool that helps me a lot now that I have learned to use it. But for years, like many people, I was afraid to use it. I did not understand it, not that I am an expert, now I know how to use it and appreciate all that one can accomplish through it. At times we have an attitude of fear in respect to our spiritual lives. We stop doing things for God because we do not understand well what God is doing.

The disciples believed they understood God’s ways, thinking that illnesses were the result of sin. But Jesus wanted them to experience the mercy and power of God in the life of this blind man. He wanted this man to gain the mercy and healing of God, through faith.

Often, God calls us to do something for other people as an expression of our faith. We can trust in the ability of God to lead us and bless us, even when we do not fully understand. God knows where we are going, even when we ignore Him.

Prayer: Oh God, you know how weak I am. Help me to walk by faith, even when I do not understand all that you are doing. I want to serve you and follow you. Amen.

LIBRE PARA OBRAR

JUAN 9:1-7

Quiero servirte y seguirte. Amén.
