Proverbs 11: 1-19

Happy are people who are hungry and thirsty for righteousness, because they will be fed until they are full.

            The word JUSTICE appears 370 times in the Bible. In Proverbs 11 it appears five times, and it is an intrinsic part of the actions of a Christian. There is and there will be much suffering due to injustice that we perceive daily with concerns for making more suffering.

            To be satiated as an answer to the suffering that leads us to the certainty that in life or in death the Lord will fulfill God’s sentence of justice.  We must simply remember how many Christian martyrs there have been, there are today, and there surely will be, but God has provisions present and future so that all can maintain themselves firm in the faith, to what degree that is established unconditionally for all human beings who cling to the faith without exclusion.  Is this the dimension that brings the mercy of God? Let’s affirm that yes, the enemy is always unjust and it is part of his nature, while God makes visible in all human beings a defender of justice, whether it be social, economic, political, ethnic, ecological or whatever part of the Just and Perfect Creation of the Most High God.

            Let us be just in our acting even though we suffer. God always will be at our side accompanying us in all vicissitudes for justice.

 

Prayer: Just God, make us always to be defenders of justice in whatever circumstance that we find ourselves. Let us be firm in knowing that in the right moment it will be fulfilled.  Through your Son, Amen.

ACTITUDES PARA SER FELIZ (4)

Proverbios 11: 1-19

Bienaventurados los que tienen hambre y sed de justicia, porque ellos serán saciados

Mateo 5:6

            La palabra JUSTICIA aparece 370 veces en la Biblia. En el capítulo 11 de Proverbios aparece 5 veces, y es parte intrincica de la acción del cristiano. Hay y habrá mucho sufrimiento debido a la injusticia que a diario percibimos con intereses para hacer sufrir más.

            El estar saciados como respuesta al sufrimiento nos lleva a la certeza de que en la vida o en la muerte el Señor cumplirá su sentencia de justicia. Simplemente recordemos cuántos mártires del cristianismo hubo, hay aún y habrá seguramente, pero Dios tiene provisiones presentes y futuras para todos aquellos que se mantienen firmes en la fe, a tal grado que está establecido sin condicionales para todo ser humano que se aferra a ella, sin exclusión. ¿A esa dimensión llega la misericordia de Dios? Pues afirmemos que sí, el enemigo siempre es injusto y es parte de su naturaleza, mientras que Dios se hace visible en todo ser humano defensor de la justicia, sea social, económica, política, étnica, ecológica o cualquiera que defienda la Creación justa y perfecta del Altísimo.

            Seamos justos en nuestro actuar pues aunque suframos, Él siempre estará a nuestro lado acompañándonos en toda vicisitud por la justicia.

 

Oración: Dios Justo, haznos siempre defensores de la justicia en cualquier circunstancia que nos encontremos, pues sabemos que en su momento la harás cumplir. Por tu hijo, amén.
