TRUE TESTIMONY

John 5:31-47

If I testify about myself, my testimony is not true; there is another who testifies in my favor, and I know his testimony about me is true. (NIV)

John 5:31- 32

The life of Christians is subject to showing a good testimony of the presence of God in their lives. It means that we must give a true testimony of those of us who are called children of God, both outside and inside the church.

When we attest to a true testimony, we are making known how God works in each of us. Therefore, the works of Christ testify that he was sent by God. Without a doubt, we should also accept that testimony today.

Are we giving a true testimony of God in our lives? Let’s think seriously about this question.

When testifying, let us not do so thinking of ourselves; we must praise, magnify and glorify the name of God, because whoever loves God seeks to honor him and does not seek his own honor.

As we give our testimonies, let us do so with true love, joy and faith in Christ.

 

Prayer: Father, may my testimony be to magnify and glorify your holy name. Amen.

Celebración de la Iglesia dependiente en Paredes

VERDADERO TESTIMONIO.

Juan 5:31-47

Si doy testimonio acerca de mí mismo, mi testimonio no es verdadero. Otro es quien da testimonio acerca de mí y sé que el testimonio que da de mí es verdadero

Juan 5:31- 32

La vida de los cristianos está sujeta a mostrar un buen testimonio de la presencia de Dios en sus vidas . Significa que debemos dar un testimonio verdadero de los que somos llamados hijos de Dios, fuera y dentro de la iglesia.

Cuando damos fe de un verdadero testimonio estamos dando a conocer como obra Dios en cada uno de nosotros. Por ende las obras de Cristo dan testimonio de que fue enviado por Dios, sin duda hoy también nosotros deberíamos aceptar ese testimonio.

¿Estamos dando un verdadero testimonio de Dios en nuestras vidas? Pensemos seriamente en esta interrogante.

Al testificar no lo hagamos pensando en nosotros mismos, debemos alabar, engrandecer y glorificar el nombre de Dios , porque quien ama a Dios busca honrarle y no busca su propia honra.

Al dar nuestros testimonios hagámoslo con verdadero amor, gozo y fe en Cristo.

 

Oración: Padre, que mi testimonio sea para engrandecer y glorificar tu Santo Nombre. Amén.
