MORE THAN JUST WORDS: LIVING OUT THE FATHER’S WILL

Matthew 7:21-29

Not everyone who says to me, “Lord, Lord,” will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

This verse reminds us that faith is not a mask or a mere repetition of words, but a path that lives within our hearts. Jesus invites us to discover that the Kingdom of God is not earned through discourse, but rather through acts of love that come from trusting in Him.

The good news is that the Father does not demand impossible feats of greatness from us, but rather simplicity, an open heart, walking in righteousness, caring for our brothers and sisters, and allowing His will to be reflected in our lives. In the midst of our frailty, God sustains us; in our vulnerability, He embraces us.

Today, our communities are called to be a refuge of hope. May every word become a source of comfort, every embrace a sign of Christ’s presence, and every action a testimony that the Kingdom of God is already at hand.

The message is clear and full of tenderness. God does not look for perfection, but willing hearts. May our faith be expressed through love in action, through mercy shared with others, and through hope that shines even in the darkest night.

Prayer: Lord, may we not only call upon your name, but also do your will. May our faith be not just words, but obedience and action in our daily lives. Amen.

MÁS QUE PALABRAS: VIVIR LA VOLUNTAD DEL PADRE.

Mateo 7:21-29

No todo el que me dice: ‘Señor, Señor’, entrará en el reino de los cielos, sino sólo el que hace la voluntad de mi Padre que está en el cielo.

Este versículo nos recuerda que la fe no es un disfraz ni una palabra repetida, sino un camino que se vive con el corazón. Jesús nos invita a descubrir que el Reino de Dios no se gana con discursos, sino con gestos de amor que nacen de la confianza en Él. 

La buena noticia es que el Padre no nos exige grandezas imposibles, sino sencillez, abrir el corazón, caminar en justicia, cuidar al hermano y dejar que su voluntad se refleje en nuestra vida. En medio de la fragilidad, Dios nos sostiene; en la soledad, Él nos acompaña; en la vulnerabilidad, Él nos abraza. 

Hoy, nuestras comunidades están llamadas a ser refugio de esperanza. Que cada palabra se convierta en consuelo, cada abrazo en señal de la presencia de Cristo, y cada acción en testimonio de que el Reino ya se acerca. 

El mensaje es claro y lleno de ternura, Dios no busca perfección, busca corazones dispuestos. Que nuestra fe se traduzca en amor vivido, en misericordia compartida, en esperanza que se enciende incluso en la noche más oscura.

Oración: Señor que no solo te nombre, sino que haga tu voluntad, que nuestra fe no sea solo palabras, sino obediencia y acción en la vida diaria. Amén.
