FOUNTAIN OF LIVING WATER

Isaiah 12:3

. . . which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Colossians 1:27 (NRSV)

            To whoever is thirsty, I will freely give from the fountain of living water. Drink deeply of it, and so I will be able to live abundantly in you. Let the living water come into the depths of your being, refreshing you and renewing you. As this water of Life is free, you may dispense it to all who desire it . . . you can have as much as you want from me. I am Christ in you, your hope and your glory!

            My desire is that you thirst for me, your God. Thirst is a very powerful desire; water sustains life much more than food. Pure water is much more healthful than canned drinks laced with sugars and chemical products. In the same way, drinking from me first and foremost is determinative for your spiritual health. Although other things might satisfy you for atime, they aren’t going to appease the thirst of your soul.

            Rejoice that what you need most is free. Take water from the fountains of salvation with happiness.

 

Prayer: My good Jesus, be the fountain from which I want to drink all my days. May nothing satisfy my thirst for you. Amen.

FUENTE DE AGUA VIVA

Isaias 12:3

...que es Cristo en vosotros, la esperanza de la gloria

Colosenses 1:27

 

            Al que tenga sed  le daré a beber gratuitamente de la fuente del agua de la vida. Bébela con intensidad y así yo podré vivir abundantemente en ti. Deja que el agua viva llegue hasta las profundidades de tu ser, refrescándote y renovándote. Como esta agua de Vida es gratis, puedes disponer de toda la que quieras...puedes tener tanto como desees de mí. ¡Yo soy Cristo en ti, la esperanza de la gloria!

 

            Mi deseo es que tengas mucha sed de mí, tu Dios. La sed es un deseo muy poderoso; el agua sostiene la vida, mucho más que el alimento. El agua pura es mucho más saludable que las bebidas enlatadas llenas de azúcares y productos químicos. De igual manera, beber de mí primero que nada y ante todo es determinante para tu salud espiritual. Aunque otras cosas pudieren satisfacerte durante un tiempo, no van a apagar la sed de tu alma.

Alégrate de que lo que más necesites es gratuito. Saca agua de las fuentes de la salvación con alegría.

 

Oración: Sé tú, mi buen Jesús, la fuente de la cual quiera yo beber todos los días. Que nunca se sacie mi sed de ti. Amén.
