SEPTEMBER 6
LET’S ANNOUNCE THE GOOD NEWS
Romans 10: 8-15
Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation
Mark 16:15 (NIV)
A few days ago I received some photos of a group of volunteers in a children's cancer hospital in Nicaragua, one of them was my cousin. Along with the photos were her reflections on a reality that sometimes is alien and indifferent to us:
“...I entered the oncology ward yesterday. I still don't know how to react or how to live after what I saw: children in pain, unable to do anything. I feel that I have changed and I ask God to change the way I live, I don't want to be the same after seeing what I saw. I want to help change the world, so that there is more of God...”
How many times have you and I as Christians felt moved to tell others about God in the face of less shocking realities? How many times are we distressed to see a group of children in the streets fighting, or dysfunctional families, or the hundreds of people who are admitted daily to hospitals for medical treatment? What kind of followers of Christ are we when out of fear or selfishness we prefer to remain silent and not share the wonderful gift of God's love?
May we be prepared to be light; at home, in our neighborhood, at work, with friends, with strangers. May each experience lead us to reflect on the wonderful gift we have and allow us to share it with love
Prayer: Father, use us in the task of carrying your message to others. Amen.

SEPTIEMBRE 6
ANUNCIEMOS LAS BUENAS NUEVAS
Romanos 10: 8-15
