IN PRAYER

Philippians 4:4-7

… but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Phillipians 4:6(NRSV)

            Christians do not know with certainty the great power that is given to us in prayer. With prayer we are face to face with the One who created the universe and everything in it.

            Imagine what a high honor it is to be able to address God, converse with Him and be heard as if we were talking to a good friend.

            Here are 5 tips to talk to God in a better way:

1. God always listens to you. Don't forget that.

2. His mercy is greater than any of your sins.

3. Choose a quiet place that allows you to listen to Him.

4. Concentrate. Do not be distracted by anything.

5. Talk to God as you do with your best friend.

            By following these tips and with a fervent desire to be able to engage in conversation with our Lord Jesus, we will be closer to Him in communion.

 

Prayer: Father, today I cannot thank you enough for all your blessings. Let my silence and the beating of my grateful heart be the prayer that ascends to your presence. Amen.

EN ORACION

Filipenses 4:4-7

Que sus peticiones sean conocidas delante de Dios en toda oración y ruego, con acciones de gracias

Filipenses 4:6

            Los cristianos no sabemos con certeza el gran poder que nos es dado en la oración. Con la oración estamos frente a frente con Aquel que creó el universo y todo lo que hay en él.

            Imagínense cuán alto honor poder dirigirnos a Dios, conversar con Él y ser escuchados como si estuviéramos hablando con un buen  amigo.

            He aquí 5 consejos para hablar con Dios de una mejor manera:

1. Dios te escucha siempre. No lo olvides

2. Su misericordia es más grande que cualquiera de tus pecados

3. Elige un lugar tranquilo que te permita escucharlo

4. Concéntrate. No te distraigas con nada

5. Conversa con Dios como lo haces con tu mejor amigo.

            Siguiendo estos consejos y con un deseo ferviente de poder entablar una conversación con nuestro Señor Jesús, estaremos más cerca de Él en comunión.

 

Oración: Padre, hoy no me alcanzan las palabras para darte gracias por todas tus bendiciones. Permite que mi silencio y los latidos de mi corazón agradecido sean la oración que suba hasta tu presencia. Amén.
