BETTER TO BE…STUMBLING, LIMPING AND LAME
Mark 9:40-50
For whoever is not against us is for us
Mark 9:40 (NIV)
There are those who say that with the years our memory fails us, and maybe they are right. Surely, they are right, in part, but I think and believe that the years cannot make us forget that which we have learned well. And this is the case for those of us who have learned from God and the example of his Son Jesus Christ, ever since we began attending Church. We learn from his Word, and we remember his teachings.
We read in the selected verses that Christ spoke to us about sin and what we should be doing in order to not provoke others to fall into sin. It should be added that it is not that we apply this truth in a literal way, it is not about mutilations of the body but rather about analyzing our actions so that we are not a stumbling block for those who wish to walk with God.
The one who forgets the teachings of Christ and lives a Christian life in his own way and acts with his neighbors as he thinks best or allows himself to be taken along with what others say, ignoring that Christ told us to love our neighbors, that one will be a prisoner of sin.
Prayer: Lord, we pray for those who forget what they have learned in your Word, that they may not be stumbling blocks in the path of those you have chosen. Amen.

MEJOR ES...TUERCO, MANCO Y COJO
Marcos 9:40-50
