WORKING FOR THIS GREAT FAMILY

Luke 8:19-21

...My mother and brothers are those who hear God’s Word and put it into practice.

Luke 8:21 (NIV)

When we embrace the Christian faith, we become part of a great family, a great community of human beings who respond to the call of God and seek to follow his path.

Jesus calls us to extend our idea of family, recognizing ourselves as family and acting as family, to help each other and above all to love each other, to care for each other and to protect each other.

Only those who listen and correctly interpret the Word of God, understand the sentiment of this affirmation of Jesus.

Let us be mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers to each other, and work together to continue to expand the family. Let us not close our doors or build walls. We must open our arms and our windows, and welcome those who, inspired by God, desire to be part of this great family.

 

Prayer: Lord, thank you for the family we are, and for the community we are. Keep our doors open for others. Amen.

TRABAJANDO POR ESTA GRAN FAMILIA

Lucas 8:19-21

...Mi madre y mis hermanos son los que oyen la palabra de Dios y la ponen en práctica

Lucas 8:21

Cuando abrazamos la fe cristiana, nos convertimos en parte de una gran familia, una gran comunidad de seres humanos que responden al llamado de Dios y buscan seguir sus pasos.

Jesús nos llama a extender nuestra idea de familia, reconocernos como familia y actuar como familia, ayudarnos acompañarnos y unos sobrea  todo amándonos. otros, cuidarnos, protegernos,

Sólo quien oye e interpreta correctamente la Palabra de Dios, comprende el sentido de esta afirmación de Jesús .

Seamos madres, padres, hermanas y hermanos entre sí, y trabajemos juntos para seguir ampliando la familia. No cerremos las puertas, ni construyamos muros. Debemos abrir nuestros brazos, nuestras ventanas, y dar la bienvenida a quienes inspirados por Dios, deseen ser parte de esta gran familia

 

Oración: Señor, gracias por la familia que somos, por la comunidad que somos. Mantén abiertas nuestras puertas para otras y otros. Amén
