SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 24th

WE ARE ALL WORTHY OF HIS LOVE

Matthew 20:1-16

You also go and work in my vineyard, and I will pay you whatever is right.

Matthew 20:4 (NIV)

Often, we live comparing our lives, our relationships, and our achievements, with other people. Even in the church, sometimes we believe we deserve privileges, attention, opportunities, for different reasons such as time in the community, financial contribution, being part of a family, etc. And we forget that these reasons have nothing to do with the true purpose of God.

God calls us at any time, from any place, and our covenant with Him is to bear witness of His love for everyone.

Let us think of better ways to respond to His faithfulness, how to be consistent with His teachings, without feeling more important or more deserving of His blessings, because God has all of us in just the right place, at the center of His love.

 

Prayer: God, help us to overcome our selfishness, and to work in your vineyard together with everyone who love You. Amen

TODOS SOMOS DIGNOS DE SU AMOR

Mateo 20:1-16

Vayan ustedes también a trabajar a mi viñedo y les pagaré lo que sea justo

Muchas veces vivimos comparando nuestra vida, nuestras relaciones , las cosas que podemos alcanzar, con otras personas. Incluso en la iglesia, a veces nos creemos merecedores y merecedoras de privilegios, atenciones, oportunidades, por disímiles razones como el tiempo en la comunidad, el aporte financiero, ser parte de alguna familia, ext. Y se nos olvida que esas razones no tienen nada que ver con el verdadero propósito de Dios.

Dios nos llama en cualquier momento, desde cualquier lugar, y nuestro pacto con Él es dar testimonio de su amor por todas y todos.

Pensemos mejor en cómo responder a su fidelidad, cómo ser consecuentes con sus enseñanzas, sin sentirnos más importantes o más merecedores de sus bendiciones, porque Dios tiene a todas y todos en el justo lugar, en el centro de su amor.

 

Oración: Dios, ayúdanos a vencer nuestro egoísmos, y trabajar en tu viña juntos a todas las personas que te amen. Amén
