WE ARE INSTRUMENTS IN YOUR HANDS

Acts  9: 31-42

Acts 34-35 NIV

God makes us the vehicle of his miracle, and by our good deeds and by our intention to care for and comfort others, like Peter, the miracles that we can do in his name are consolidated. The text shows us two ways of concretizing the miracle, the first is our actions: by them others will be converted. The second is prayer: in solitude, making sincere petitions to God, we can intervene as bridges of the miracles that give breath back to others. In both cases, Peter had the willingness to go. He was alert and ready to respond to the call of a brother and sister. May our steps stop every time we feel the call of the heart to someone who needs a caress of the Spirit. May our prayer and our actions announce the greatness of the God of love.

SOMOS INSTRUMENTOS EN SUS MANOS

Hechos 9: 31-42

Pedro le dijo: Eneas, Jesucristo te da la salud. Levántate y tiende tu cama¨. Eneas se levantó inmediatamente; y todos los habitantes de Lida (…) se convirtieron al Señor.

Hechos 9:34-35

Dios nos convierte en el vehículo de su milagro, y por nuestra acción de bien, por muestra intensión de cuidar y consolar a otros, se consolidan los milagros que, como Pedro, podemos hacer en su nombre. El texto nos muestra dos maneras de concretar el milagro, la primera nuestras acciones; por ellas otras y otros se convertirán. La segunda la oración; en soledad, haciendo peticiones sinceras a Dios, podemos intervenir como puentes de los milagros que devuelven el aliento a los demás. En ambos casos, Pedro tuvo la disponibilidad para ir, estuvo alerta y dispuesto para acudir al llamado de un hermano y una hermana. Que se detengan nuestros pasos todas las veces que en el día sentimos el llamado del corazón ante alguien que necesite una caricia del Espíritu. Que nuestra oración y nuestras acciones, anuncien la grandeza del Dios de amor.

 

Oración: Buen Dios, gracias por la oportunidad de ser instrumento en tus manos. Amén.
