LIFE IN THE PLANS OF JESUS

John 14: 1-6

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

John 14:6 (NIV)

While it may be necessary to leave our comfort zones, it is also necessary to know where we can go or who we can safely approach and find peace in the face of instability, refuge from fears.  Depending on where we are positioned, we will respond to personal situations and those who need us. This speaks to our dedication and trust in God. As we walk, we get tired and overwhelmed, sometimes our eyesight gets blurred, we falter, and we need to recharge our batteries, and regain our confidence.

Jesus’ plan always has a place for everyone. It is when we live connected in the way of Jesus, with his conscience and act of justice that we are walking his life, and we find ourselves in his truth. It is by following his proposal that we stay with Him, and we can find the abundance of his love, strength along the way, and true assuredness.

 

Prayer: Kind and loving God, we recognize that at times we may stop along the way. May we always be able to take the hand of Jesus, and together walk his proposal of life. Amen.

VIDA EN LA PROPUESTA DE JESÚS

Juan 14: 1-6

Jesús le dijo: Yo soy el camino, la verdad, y la vida; nadie viene al Padre, sino por mí.

Juan 14:6

Si bien es necesario salir de las zonas de confort, también hay que conocer a dónde podemos ir o a quien podemos acercarnos con seguridad y hallar paz ante la inestabilidad, refugio ante los miedos. Según dónde estamos posicionados, responderemos antes las situaciones personales y de quienes nos necesitan, esto habla de nuestra entrega, y confianza en Dios. En el andar, nos cansamos, y agobiamos, en ocasiones se nos nubla la vista, decaemos, y necesitamos recargar las baterías, reencontrar la confianza.

La propuesta de Jesús tiene lugar para todas y todos siempre. Es cuando vivimos conectados a la manera de Jesús, con su conciencia y actuar de justicia es que estamos caminando su vida, y nos hallamos en su verdad. Es siguiendo su propuesta que permanecemos junto a Él, y podemos encontrar la amplitud de su amor, la fuerza en el camino, la seguridad verdadera.

 

Oración: Buen Dios, reconocemos que a veces nos detenemos en el camino. Permite que siempre podamos tomar la mano de Jesús, y juntos andar su propuesta de vida. Amén.
